"We started off our evening in the bar for a happy hour cocktail. Emily was a very attentive and lovely bar tender. We tried the Red Dragon, my normal Greygoose cosmo followed by a 24 Kt. Ashlyn has a second Red Dragon, the cosmo was good and the 24 was so pretty, but just a one time drink for me.
We left the bar for our reservation just as the live music was getting started but it sounded lovely.
Next we were seated and our waiter stopped by to introduce us to the team. We started with ordering the seafood tower. We loved it. Even the oysters were good, and I’m not an oyster eater. They need to be melt in your mouth good for me to even consider eating them. It was so nice it actually became my dinner while my family enjoyed their entrees. The seafood negative we found is they don’t have warmers for the drawn butter. Note to management, butter warmers are a must if you serve lobster and king crab!
Next entrees were brought, my husband had the stuffed shrimp and added the king crab legs. The stuffing on the shrimp was super, and the king crab was wonderful. My daughter had the fish of the day. Sword fish served over asparagus. The fish was good but sadly the asparagus was woody and you could really only enjoy the tips.
Which was the only negative we had on this visit.
Our to go snack of crab and a few shrimp was packed on ice for us, which is nice for warmer weather days here in TX.
Will definitely return to try some red meat. The steaks sound amazing but we are seafood fans.
