I came here to celebrate my birthday by myself as a friend of mine couldn’t make it and I must first of all say that the staff were so amazing, too bad I don’t know their names. Two staff members helped me with taking my pictures as I didn’t have anyone with me and I couldn’t imagine not taking pics in the outfit I had worn! Secondly the food was so delicious! I definitely would recommend, especially for occasions such as birthday. The atmosphere was calm as there weren’t much people at the time I had arrived, which is what I loved about it. A 10/10 for me!

Staff were friendly & efficient. They allowed us to change from indoor to outdoor seating which was appreciated. There was a delay in delivering wine to accompany 1 person’s main course but in fairness another party had ordered a cocktail and the server decided to deliver the drinks together. All four of us had the crab starter which was delicately flavoured and light. For mains we enjoyed a variety of steaks ranging from sirloin to fillet. They were all perfectly cooked and served extremely quickly. The chips were pre salted and delicious. We were too full for dessert. We were grateful that the steaks weren’t seasoned as many chefs tend to be heavy handed with salt. It’s much better to be able to season your own steak to taste. Also the steaks came with chips, jus and choice of sauce. Hawksmoor take note. The noise level outdoors was low which was a major plus. Also it was great to be able to view the streetscape while eating. Indoors is lovely too but can get quite noisy as I recall. One of our party has dined at the sister restaurant in Donnybrook which she would also recommend especially for families and for bigger parties. All in all a lovely experience.
