Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. Went early, sat by a window with a beautiful view. Ambience is amazing, very comfortable and welcoming. Staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful; very knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make suggestions. Everyone seems excited to serve you an amazing meal! Last time we were there the chef came out to personally ask our opinion of a new dish we had ordered, and was genuinely elated when we told him how much we enjoyed it. And the food - is - spectacular! Wonderful dishes with amazing combinations of flavors. We've had fish dishes, chicken, steak, and pork; they have all exceeded expectations. Each time we go seems somehow even better than the last. Menu changes seasonally, so there are always new things to try. Only complaint is that the menu online is not always updated. We have gotten excited about something we saw online only to find a different menu when we arrived. Still never been disappointed by the choices!

The North Dock is right on Lake Champlain so diners can experience truly wonderful views and, if the weather is right, spectacular sunsets. The food is consistently delicious. Served buffet style with a wide range of options, diners enjoy the freshest local produce in spectacular salads, and equally fresh fish and meat. Last night’s highlights were an amazing broccoli salad, melt in your mouth prime rib, and fantastic carrot cake. We’ve eaten at the North Dock for years and have never been disappointed. Service is brilliant- very attentive.
