The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

This was our first time eating at the Belvedere. We made reservations to celebrate our 9th anniversary. We were absolutely beside ourselves about how great the service, food, drinks, and desserts! To top it off, we didn’t have shell shock when we received our tab. Very reasonable considering the excellent services. We will definitely go back and soon!!

Really enjoy the experience here, but the food is not as good as before, for example the pork chop was quite tough and the scallops and risotto was a bit salty, and the sweet corn soup was not really sweet but more like a south East Asian style soup, so that’s why no 5 stars, but definitely this is better than your average restaurant when you factor in the cakes from the backers and baguettes and butter in the bread basket.
