An absolutely amazing culinary experience from every angle. If you're looking for the ultimate curated fine dining experience, this is the one - not just in Leavenworth, but anywhere. Fixed menu with incredibly inventive dishes served with care and just enough info to educate and intrigue, the flavors are out of this world. Plus, bonus points for diligent and easy accommodation of our dietary restrictions.

A surprising gem in the Bavarian town of Leavenworth. I have had the opportunity to visit many top steakhouses across the world, and OWC can easily hold their own against all of them. The service is excellent, and the hideaway feel of the restaurant is ideal for a quite conversation with someone special. We kicked things off with a 10/10 recommended dirty martini, made with house brine and a fennel au gratin with locally baked bread that was rich but not heavy. But the real standout is the steak. The cuts are excellent, and I asked for mine prepared "chef's choice" and was not disappointed. Full of flavor and expertly cooked. And as a special bonus, while the wine list is not extensive, we had a fabulous French cab that sealed the deal. If you love steak, this is worth traveling for, with the added bonus of a quiet (and quaint) Bavarian Village to stroll through after dinner.

First time at Carta. The service was impeccable! Atmosphere allowed for easy conversation, there were four of us, however, the restaurant was not full, so not sure how it would be with a packed house. The appetizers were outstanding! We had the Crispy Eggplant, Ahi Tuna and Honey Glazed Spanish Pulpo - all were unique and yummy! Entrees were good, but we aren't spending today thinking about them. We had the Mishima Reserve Wagyu Flank Steak, Copper River Salmon, Foie Gras-Stuffed Quail and Speck Wrapped Scallops. We brought our own wine as we had a bottle we really wanted, there was no corkage which was very surprising but very nice. We will certainly go back.

My husband and I have been to Visconti’s many times. We’ve always had a wonderful experience and meal. Last night was exceptionally wonderful! Asia was our server and she’s fantastic! My husband wanted to order a steak but feels like it’s never cooked right wherever he orders it from but we talked with Asia about it and she said she likes it the same way my husband does and the kitchen would make sure it was cooked right. When she brought out our food she had him cut into it to make sure and it was cooked right and it was cooked perfectly! My husband was very happy! We had the chef board as an appetizer and the clams and they both were delicious! My meal was the vodka sauce pasta ( can’t remember the name of it) and I added shrimp to it and it was delicious! We had a few cocktails that were made perfectly and rounded it off with the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake! Delicious!! Our evening was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Staff were exceptional and the meal stupendous. The Pork Belly Confit is amazing and a must try. We all ordered the Flank Steak Special with freshly foraged morels…medium rare: so good! The Raspberry Torte was especially good- not too sweet and wonderful to have it with simple freshly whipped cream.
