We think our food and evening at Origen was not only the best experience in Oaxaca but perhaps anywhere. It is is cultured, so above most aesthetically. The food was simple but it reminded me of the early years of Che Panisse in Berkeley, CA....

I absolutely loved the squash blossom appetizer, and the crab tostada. The ceviche was also excellent. Highly recommend!! Try to sit under a fan if you can, it got pretty toasty on the roof around 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Went there for Breakfast and loved it, the green enchiladas with chicken were delicious. My family ordered chilaquiles the yellow ones and the Guajillo ones , they loved it. Service was first class. Ambiance Beautiful!! Loved it so much that we came back the next morning again, and I ordered the French toast. Super!!
