- DDenisevipWashington, D.C. Area •56 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy first time there and I really enjoyed the food and the restaurant in general. I had a very large delicious trout filet that was cooked and served perfectly. Love that the restaurant is on the W&D bike path. Purceville is very cute and historic town. Will be backMore infoMagnolias at the millPrice: Expensive• American• Purcellville•4.7

- MMariavipOrlando / Central Florida East •3 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 25, 2024I know that others probably have a different opinion of the restaurant. We returned after more than 15 years as we were going to be in the area and wanted to revisit a special place from our past. We were seated in a very dark part of the restaurant which was fine but would have been nicer to be seated facing the garden. Wine was delicious and first and second courses were as well. Dessert was really marginal at best - we were told that we had to order with our appetize and entree because it would take 20 minutes to prepare. I ordered a pumpkin roulade which came out cold and hard. Not sure where all the prep time went. And my husband had a chocolate dome with a gelatin outer shell that was completely unnecessary. Also the prices were just over the top and the overall experience was not to that comparable level. It's too bad but we likely won't go back. To us it just seems like prices are unnecessarily inflated because of the area but in reality they aren't delivering on actual value.More infoThe Ashby InnPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Paris•4.8
- SScottWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 14, 2024This restaurant takes you back - it has the look and feel of an old style American tavern; what I imagine might have been there in the late 1800s, but with modern conveniences. Highly recommended!More infoHunter's Head TavernPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Upperville•4.6
