    It started as a special occasion love affair but then the weekly specials had us coming back more often. Then we saw they had happy hour cocktails and wine Thurs-Sat, so now we pop in regularly for a feeling of a-bit-of-fancy and good fare as the week wraps up. Food is excellent and menu is varied. It is so nice to go to a restaurant where you get a complete and considered meal where you don’t have to pay for sides separately and ring up the bill! Presentation and plating is social media worthy and the chef/owner seems really lovely and invested. We love it. Thanks for having us again last night!

    We think it’s worth the three hour drive to dine here. Great food ,excellently cooked steaks,nice staff and a lovely view. What more could you ask for.

    we had my daughter's 18th birthday at the Argyle Hotel last night and it was fantastic!!! Nothing was a problem. All staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious with no errors made by the kitchen or ordering. I understand a large group booking can put pressure on staff but everything was perfect !!!! 5 stars to the Argyle once again and a special thank you to the lady who hosted our table....i can't remember her name and I know she told me.... sorry
