    Everything was really great. When you book a Sat night at a fine dining restaurant, you want it to go well. And it did. Great table. Attentive informative waiter. Big drinks. Food came out hot. Cooked perfectly. Started with octopus and Caesar salad. Then the fish cooked just right, the gold NY steak- excellent. And the filet. Perfect. Huge loaded baked potato. Brussels sprouts with thick pieces of bacon and peppers which were my favorite side. Too full for dessert and took half my steak and sides home. The fun of dining is trying many different things and we did. Thanks for a great evening, Ocean 48. You served it up right! Delicious and classy.

    Undoubtedly my top 3 favorite restaurants. Every single time I come here, I enjoy my time and every bite is impeccable. Every single question and request was answered so well by the staff. Our server, whose name we had to ask for, Noah was so impressive I wish he could’ve sat and taught us more of what he knew. Such a great experience and will always be my first stop when I’m in Newport.

    We came to Nobu Newport to celebrate my birthday, and the entire experience was excellent from check-in to the end of dinner. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, consistently checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed and more. He was incredibly kind throughout the evening and made my birthday feel extra special. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. The marina view was gorgeous, and the weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes. Highly recommend!

    The food is just beyond belief, the service is absolutely amazing, and the ambiance is incredible. This was our third time in twelve days, each time proved the training has to be the best. We could detect no change in the quality. It should not be forgotten, the initial contact is with hospitality and friendliness, and beauty that starts the experience. It is our very favorite restaurant in Newport Beach.
