At Cafe Gabbiano everything is made to order as we want each dish to be fresh. All of our sauces and pastas are homemade. Cafe Gabbiano is a 4,000 sqft facility that offers intimate dining as well as larger rooms to host special occasions such as beach weddings and rehearsal dinners. Our casual restaurant has a retro contemporary theme which includes a carved wood bar topped with marble, granite table tops and bright turquoise and red accents flanking the wood-burning brick oven. Terrace seating is shared with our fine dining concept Bella Roma. Flavio, a third-generation chef from Venice, Italy, says his Farinata is not available anywhere else in the area. The thin pancake (much like a tortilla) is made of chickpeas, baked in the wood-burning oven and enhanced with rosemary and other savory toppings. Among Flavio's thin-crust pizzas (his grandfather's recipes) are the popular Quattro Stagioni (fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, prosciutto, olives) and the Pizza Vegetariana with assorted grilled veggies. The rustic bread and focaccia are made on the premises. Flavio's also serves up house-made pasta dishes, plus veal and seafood entrees. We look forward to serving you!

    We celebrated our anniversary at Ocean Prime Sarasota and it was absolutely perfect! The food was outstanding — the sea bass was cooked flawlessly, the steaks were tender and flavorful, and every entree was exceptional. The service was warm, attentive, and made our special night feel truly memorable. Highly recommend for a special occasion or any night you want an elevated dining experience. We’ll definitely be back

    A great little place - has a dining room situation to fit families or an intimate dinner date. We celebrated our anniversary there, it was a stellar experience - great appetizers, entrees, wine and complimentary dessert. They provided a framed photo memento of our visit. Service was excellent. Definitely going back and will bring friends. Thank you for a lovely evening!

    Our waitress was incredible, very thoughtful and timely. The food was incredible, from the tapas to the famous 1905 salad, to the entrees, we even got a flan for our anniversary, she was very thoughtful. Our sangria was outstanding and overall it was an incredible experience!
