Think Italian bistro meets British pub....but in the South and at the beach! We book reservations from 6-10 guests in our main dining room and 1-12 guests for our Wine Tastings on Wednesdays and Saturdays. For parties greater than 10, call the restaurant directly.Come share a drink, a few small plates, a meal or an evening. The laid-back but cosmopolitan vibe will draw you in. The Mediterranean-leaning menu with fresh local seafood, choice-cut steaks, pasta, salads and more will keep you coming back. Signature menu items include whipped goat and fig, and seafood risotto and real espresso martinis. Lunch and dinner served daily, with brunch on weekends. A dedicated gluten-free menu is available. Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. Weather permitting, TRiO's front porch is available for dining and is dog friendly.

    An absolutely stunning meal! Truly one of those dining experiences that stays with you long after you've left. The food was superb from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully prepared, thoughtfully composed, and perfectly seasoned. You can really feel the care and intention behind the food, and there wasn't a single thing on our table that we didn't love. My mom had reached out ahead of our reservation to request a table by the windows, and the team was so gracious in accommodating us. We ended up with one of those gorgeous sound-side seats, perfectly timed to watch the sunset over the water, making an already wonderful evening feel downright magical. And the service was every bit as wonderful as the food. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, steering us toward all the best dishes without ever being pushy. Just that lovely, effortless kind of hospitality that makes you feel completely at ease. It was our last evening in the Outer Banks, and what a beautiful way to end the trip. Just a really special experience all around. Thank you to everyone at Theodosia for such a memorable evening. We're already looking forward to coming back next season!
