Great experience. So glad we got to eat here. We had mussels, chicken parm, trout and finished off with bread pudding and blueberry coverlet. Everything was delicious.

The pre-theater menu is very good - lots of options and a terrific value. The puffy pita is amazing! And do have dessert, the Apricot Yogurt is actually a parfait and was the best thing I ate!

Crystal was THE BEST server I've had in a while, which made the experience even better. With my mother-in-law in town, I wanted to take her to a true D.C. dining experience and Hamilton did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back to try the entire starters menu. Crystal recommended we start with the edamame dumplings, as they were a fav of hers, and I tell ya...Great recommendations, great food, great ambience...highly recommend!

Maydan lived up to the hype and then some. The atmosphere is warm and lively, centered around the open-fire hearth that gives the restaurant its unique character. Service was outstanding, and the entire meal felt like an experience rather than just dinner. The star of the night was the lamb shoulder. It was incredibly tender, rich, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of smokiness from the live-fire cooking. It’s the type of dish that makes you stop talking for a minute just to enjoy the bite. Combined with the fresh breads, spreads, and accompanying dishes, it was one of the most memorable lamb preparations I’ve had. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, and the family-style format made it easy to sample a variety of flavors. Maydan manages to be both refined and approachable at the same time. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Easily a 10/10 experience, and a restaurant I’d gladly return to. The lamb shoulder alone is worth the visit. 😀
