If the reservation is canceled a week or less before the date, or if it is not honored, the credit card on file will be charged. The charge is $20-per-person. It was a great lunch experience that was novel for our 4 visitors who are not from Narragansett. The igloo’s view, comfort and the fresh air was incredibly enjoyable, as was the service and the food. We were in the igloo that had the western USA theme. What could be improved? The Coast Guard House had told us we can pick/choose the igloo. The reality is that you are assigned an igloo and you have no choice. That was disappointing. The other minor gripe is the table setting. Your food is to be eaten on kneehigh tables. In hindsight, we wished we had ordered a bunch of shareable’s instead of everybody, ordering individual lunch plates and having to eat, bent over and leaning forward. All things considered, I would recommend igloos at the Coast Guard house.

We stayed at the Break on 10/14/2026, for our anniversary. We chose to eat dinner at Chair 5. We sat on the rooftop seating ordered beverages & moved to the other side to watch the sunset which was magical. The staff were sooo accommodating, we were the only ones there at the time. We moved back to our seats with a beautiful ocean view. The servers gave blankets for the chill. We each ordered smash burgers with a bottle of wine, which was 50% due to the wine tasting Wednesday. Everything was perfect.
