    A big thank you to our lovely tattooed waitress for her warm welcome, kindness, and wonderful smile! 😊 My girlfriend and I really appreciated the effort she made to speak to us in clear, understandable English so that we could communicate more easily. It was a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us. We would also like to thank her and the entire restaurant team for giving us such a lovely evening, with a great atmosphere, good music, and genuine Scottish hospitality. We had a wonderful dinner and will keep a very fond memory of this experience during our trip to Scotland! It's these little human touches that make a place truly special. Thank you all for making our evening so enjoyable! 🎶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    We had a very nice dinner experience. The goat cheese salad was excellent as were the mussels. Our entrees were not as good as expected but we enjoyed our meal. Very good service and great atmosphere.

    Such a lovely little place. The weather was not the best but the log fire was on which made it nice and cozy. Staff very polite and friendly and very attentive. Food and drink was lovely, would definitely recommend going here.

    Had a fantastic experience at Cafe 1! The room is absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Norman was lovely and made us feel so welcome. The partridge was delicious, and the pork was equally lovely, with generous portion sizes. There was also a great selection of wines and some superb cocktails to finish off a wonderful meal. A beautiful setting, fantastic food and outstanding service — we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Cafe 1! 🍷🍸
