Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.Smart business casual. An amazing surprise tucked in a Brookhaven shopping center. One would have no idea that the interior is so appealing until stepping inside only to reveal the heated and cooled covered patio with lush gardens, fireplaces, and awesome lighting (great for date night). The wine list is a 18-time Wine Spectator Award winner, and the executive Chef Charles Zeran delivers up nightly specials (sign up at www.terraterroir.com) and innovative American fusion dishes (great small dishes and hamburger as well). And a top-shelf and intimate Bar Terroir with a daily happy hour with Sam the Man. Check online reviews and you will see people don't just "like" this place: they "love" it. Reasonable pricing, fresh locally-sourced food and the best patio in Georgia. And if you like ambiance, attentive service Terra Terroir delivers.     We were greeted with a smile when we arrived and Kevin was very attentive & knowledgeable when it came to great service. Our food was prepared perfectly and dessert topped our meal off perfectly. What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! Thank you for a fabulous dining experience!

    During a trip to Atlanta, I had the opportunity to eat at Terra Terroir. My companion and I each had that evening's special: halibut & asparagus in an amazing cream sauce on a croissant. The server jokingly referred to this as a filet-o-fish sandwich. While it certainly has the components of a sandwich, this was a fabulous knife and fork entree. We liked it so much, that we came back the next night for dinner. We chose that night's special, which was also terrific. The food is great. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is eclectic (suburban greenhouse meets fine dining). I highly recommend Terra Terroir.

    Everything we ate was fresh, delicious, perfectly prepared, and satisfying without leaving us feeling heavy—even the dessert was light and yummy. We tried the green beans, frito misto, spiedini di branzino, and tortelli, and every bite was magical. The atmosphere and service at Yeppa are phenomenal. If you haven't dined there yet, you're doing yourself a disservice.
