The food was delicious, the service incredible and the ambience just what we wanted, romantic and quiet (we sat outdoors).More infoBistro du MidiPrice: Expensive• French• Back Bay•4.6

- TThomasRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •8 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 27, 2024Abe, our waiter, was great! Knowledgeable, not pushy. We had the grilled squid and anchovy appetizers. Mains were halibut and the pappardelle bolognese bianco pasta. Both were excellent. Great martini and a nice Italian red. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. We'll be back soon!More infoToscano RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Beacon Hill•4.8
- TNTarlaNGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 31, 2024I would 100% recommend The Hampshire House to anyone looking for a special place for dinner or brunch. Our food was perfect, menu was limited for easter, but I see that as a good thing - specific items chosen for the day. Ambiance was fantastic, and it's really the main reason we go there....beautiful classic building with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the park....has the feel of being in the home of a wealthy 17th century boston family's library....Service was also impecable, when it seems so many other places it has gone downhill in the past few years. Attentive without being intrusive; friendly and genuine. We have been several times over the years, and always leave wondering why we don't come more often, it has never disappointed us.More infoHampshire HousePrice: Very Expensive• American• Beacon Hill•4.4
