    Exceptional restaurant! Michelin star quality. everything was fresh, nuanced flavors-deliciously spiced, original, and beautifully presented. the polenta cake dessert with blueberry white chocolate ganache & pistacio gelato was a knockout! Highly recommend

    Everything about this restaurant was impressive. First of all they have their own parking lot with plenty of parking unlike the downtown area where parking is difficult and expensive. The hostess and servers are very friendly and do a great job explaining the menu and how their locally sourced produce and meat choices are sourced and prepared for flavor. They have a good wine selection. Austin Hope Cab is our favorite with steak. Our meals were absolutely delicious! First we were served a loaf of warm fresh baked bread from a local bakery with a garlic olive oil dip. Amazing! The house salad was large and very fresh and crisp. Their house apple vinaigrette was delicious. The Filet Mignon was perfectly medium rare and juicy with the perfect searing. We also had the Brussels sprouts, the best ever, and the Parmesan broccoli. I wish we had room for dessert because they all sounded incredible. Our server, Brandon, was attentive, helpful, fun and really added to our overall dining experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Rapid City. We may even make a special trip just for a steak at Sear Black Hills Steakhouse!
