Back in time! Heemelrijck Centrum, located at Singel 161 is a smaller version of our restaurant on the beautiful Van Woustraat.     Great choice for our first night in A’dam, getting a front row seat to what the Dutch eat at home. So warm, comforting & yet elevated. Hard to tell if the service was slow or just typical European, but it was patient & friendly. Be sure to make this a stop during your time here!

    Everything about our dinner was fabulous. The cocktails. The starters. The main course. And of course dessert. All first rate. But the thing that made the evening special was our server. Bernadetta, herself a native of Torino, Italy, expertly advised us in making our selections which opened our eyes and palates to new tastes! Each item was fantastically created and plated; each brought to us with infectious delight! It was the surprise hit of our dining experiences in Amsterdam!
