- DDavidPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went to the Love this past Saturday night. Have to say, incredibly impressed, and I don't say that lightly. We have been there before over the years, mostly for brunch, and so wasn't sure how it will have been as of late. But, just all around, super, super great. Why? Ambiance is excellent, first off--lighting, noise, table settings--total class, romantic, contemporary vibe. Second, the food--inventive, fairly priced, good size portions, super interesting and flavorful and well done. Third, and my highest accolades--service. We had Lauren, who was supremely excellent in everything she did, incredibly upbeat, timely, attentive, friendly, informative--all that you would want. And, I have to say, the other staff that assisted with clearing the plates, bringing the plates, checking on the table, were all excellent. The food pacing was spot on, and the special touches of giving us two glasses for our anniversary were done right away. Love the love. And to the Love, you've got a really great representative in Lauren.More infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

As lunch proceeded, the place got louder, but never to the point that we had to yell to hear each other. Much appreciated, as some restaurants are now so loud it is painful to hold a conversation. Mushroom soup was delicious, especially with the bread basket. I teamed it with the ravioli appetizer, and it was a perfect amount of food. Others in the group had the roast beef sandwich, which they said was very good, Another member of our group had the salmon sandwich, which, again, was very good. We didn't have room for desserts. Our waiter was attentive, answering all our questions and suggesting items to try. The front desk staff was welcoming when we arrived, and wished us well when we left. So much hospitality!More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
