- HHumbertoMadrid •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoOverall it was an amazing meal, from the food to the service to the wine. Both Yuliana our server and Melvin the sommelier were great to me and wife. The only problem we had was with a gentleman at the main entrance named Yoshi. He said we were not dresses correctly. Both me and my wife had shoes a T-shirt, both had a sweater mine had a hoodie. He denied our entrance, he was straightforward rude and even discriminating. Once we showed our reservation he let us in and said “they will probably send you back”. My wife felt so bad by this point she insisted we left. Once we got upstairs the receptionist and staff could not have been nicer and correct with us. I rarely write reviews but in this day and age this kind of treatment should not be tolerated. Ironically once we were having our meal we counted 12 clients with hoodies and 2 with sandals.More infoMILAPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• South Beach•4.6

- NNathaliaAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoStepping into ORO is like entering a refined haven of luxury and warmth. The restaurant’s elegant gold accents and carefully arranged décor immediately set an inviting tone, creating a refined atmosphere perfect for a special night out. The drinks menu at ORO is a work of art on its own. Each cocktail is thoughtfully crafted, blending unique flavors that both surprise and delight. Whether you’re in the mood for something bold or a more subtle mix, the inventive drink offerings elevate the entire dining experience. The food is equally impressive. The halibut, a standout on the menu, is cooked to perfection. Its delicate texture and subtle pumpkin seasoning allow the natural flavors of the fish to shine through, providing a light yet satisfying dish. The Takamori Tart is another highlight, featuring a crisp pastry base layered with a mix of fresh, savory, and tangy ingredients. This creative dish not only offers an explosion of flavors but also reminds me of a close to home dish, it’s an amazingly elevated take on Arepas. For those looking for a lighter option, the Charred Avocado Salad is a must-try. The unique charring technique enhances the avocado with a delicate smoky flavor, which is beautifully balanced by a mix of crisp greens and a zesty dressing. This salad is a refreshing counterpoint to the richer dishes, making it an ideal choice for a balanced meal. Overall, every detail at ORO, from the striking gold décor and inviting ambiance to the creative cocktails and diverse menu, has been carefully considered to provide an exceptional dining experience. The combination of luxurious surroundings, thoughtful presentation, and innovative cuisine makes ORO a perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in an atmosphere of understated elegance.More infoOroPrice: Very Expensive• International• South Beach•4.5
