   I was so looking forward to a delicious green tagliatelle and shrimp pasta that I had seen photos of online. Sadly what I got was undercooked shrimp on somewhat flavorless but over salted sauce. The complimentary pate and garlic bread was tasty and a nice touch. The special fish of the day was a snapper that was okay, better than the pasta but nothing special, somewhat bland and over salted once again. Seemed like the ingredients were not of the best quality. The dessert of table prepared zabaione over fresh strawberries was the highlight of the meal. The waiters were old world and delightful, just wish that the food had lived up to the ambiance and service.

   We go to this restaurant every yesr for a wedding anniversary We have been visiting for over 25 years. How many restaurants are still open after 25 years? The food is great, so is the service and we get a warm welcome. Yesterday was a 50th wedding anniversary!!! Favorite dish is a boquineta, filet of fish in a puff pastry, with a lobster sauce.     The food and service is always excellent at La Dolce Vita. Every year when we come down to Cancun we eat here at least once during our vacation. I highly recommend this restaurant for the best Italian food in Cancun.

    Although it is a bit of a cab ride, La Dolce Vita is one of the best in Cancun. The owner and his staff go out of their way to make you feel appreciated. Each Entree is creative and outstanding. The beef carpaccio is a must.

    As usual….the food was fantastic, service outstanding and our total evening out was one of our best nights in Cancun. Our guests that joined us that evening could not stop talking about what a wonderful time they had and can’t wait to return so they can dine at La Dulce Vita again.     The restaurant dining experience was superb, from the staff to the food. It was a wonder evening. All the the little extras like the bread and dip while you are enjoying your first glass of wine to the special flat bread prior to you man in course.     We have been coming to Cancun for more than 40 years. We have dined at La Dolce Vita for almost 40 years. We dine there 3 or 4 times every winter season. It is our favorite restaurant of all the restaurants in Cancun. It is locally owned. The service is superb and the food is always excellent!

    Still consistently delicious. Ate here in 2019 and then last night. Outstanding food. Snow crab app alone going back for. Meats veal and beef cooked to perfection. 30 minute cab ride from our hotel and totally worth it. Thank you for the stupendous service and meal ❤️

    Excellent in every way ! We were served complimentary pate and garlic toast that was outstanding and during the meal compliment garlic pita wheel! The food was delicious, well prepared with a large portion ! This is by far a top cancun restaurant! This will be a go to restaurant after this evenings meal ! Not to be missed !     One of the best restaurant in Cancun. If you think it might not be worth the time to get there, you are wrong. Get a taxi or take the bus, well worth the time. Been traveling to Cancun for 14 years and is one of the reasons we return.

    For a Cancun restaurant that has been in business for so many years, this establishment does not disappoint. We have been eating here for 26 years during our trips to Cancun (first visit in 5/81) and it is as good today, as it has ever been. We rate this the best Italian restaurant in Cancun and coming back to this place for dinner is like going to eat at an old friend's home.
