If you have never tried our "Molcajetes" which are served on a hot lava rock with chicken, shrimp and steak with our housemade chipotle, or our Plato Placero which is served with chorizo, spiced pork, chicken and salted beef, you are missing something special! Another great meal. We've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Food and service are great. Prices are reasonable. I do wish you'd bring back the outdoor seating area in the back. It was done for COVID but it was such a great space we actually liked it better than the indoor dining (weather permitting).

Service and food were fantastic! Glad we made reservations because they were very busy. Dining room was full and plenty of take out orders, yet our food was served without delay. Everything was great!

This was our first time at LaCita. Queso Fundido is excellent. Virgin margaritas are a great setup if you bring your own tequila. I had the taco sampler. Steak, tongue, carnitas, carne asada and fish. All good. But a little dry. My wife’s cheese enchiladas were supposed to be spicy, but were very mild. Not spicy at all. The flan was overcooked. Too tight, and a little scorched in the bottom. The churros were excellent. We’ll definitely try again.

We were there for Valentine’s Day. The oysters and paella were AMAZING! Just as good as anything in Philadelphia. We eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. Their food is fresh and consistently great. The servers are very attentive. I highly recommend it!

Keeping in mind it was Valentine's Day... Parking was an issue - very small lot so we ended up with street parking about 100 yards away. Food was from a limited menu, but it was very tasty. Price was appropriate for the amount of food. Even though the restaurant is small (under 20 tables) the layout did not seem cramped. Waitress was very polite and timely.

Always a great experience here. The food is delicious and creative, not the same stuff you get at the typical Mexican restaurant (though they have that too). Interesting dishes, complex flavors, and appetizing presentation. The service was very good as well and prices are quite reasonable.

Terrific small family run restaurant. Not Tex-Mex, this is traditional Mexican food. Family friendly and flexible with making things for picky eaters. Vegetarian friendly as well. They’ve stepped up presentation a bit and perhaps they’re portions are a little smaller but overall a great neighborhood BYOB.

The servers were really kind, and some of the food and drinks were delicious. In particular I really enjoyed the nachos and guacamole. The chorizo nachos, tamale, cheese with chorizo and the chicken taquitos were also great (I think that’s what they were—they were on the appetizer platter, which I wish I could finish but I honestly ate WAY more of than I should as someone who doesn’t usually eat beef or pork). The cactus virgin margarita was also DELICIOUS, I had two! I would definitely be willing to go back and try other dishes on the menu.
