A very cold carpaccio out of the fridge, a floury and warm gnocchi, one of the worst I have had. A nice ravioli with pumpkin (because it’s sweet), again not hot just warm. A below average tiramisu, and the wines were expensive for what they were, average. All could be rates higher if the price tag was different. So you pay premium for a 3 star mid-level Italian food, which by the way is hard not to be good at… Maybe other pastas and pizzas were better, but it was a total disappointment for us last night.

Overall, a very nice experience at the Bettola Di Terroni. Fast and friendly service and the food was very good. Overall, the evening was very good. Great spot if you are in need of a spot to go before a evening at the theatre.

First off, the restaurant is well situated, the food was great and the service (waitress) was excellent. However... I brought my client out and chose this restaurant. My client ordered the steak, medium-well (yes I know, but it's my client). The waitress told us that the chef wouldn't cook it to medium-well because he's "very particular". Listen, I get it, I wouldn't order mine anything more than medium-rare. But that's what he wanted. We asked the waitress to please have the cook leave it on "just a little longer". The steak came out medium and maybe leaning towards medium-rare. He ate half of it - we didn't complain because at some point it just isn't worth it. On the button "would you recommend?" I'll choose yes, but not if you have special requests from the kitchen

Regular diners accompanied by Vegan’s, should avoid this restaurant altogether; especially if you want your meal to be placed as last priority. Despite their amazing wine selection, the kitchen did NOT seem receptive to simple changes to accommodate modern food choices. How can a chef be that uninspired to take a challenge, to create something flavourful with basic plant base ingredients? Question…do all our aromatic flavours not come from plants…? I would like to this restaurant rise to new challenges, or they may face becoming in time, in my opinion, as obsolete as a Black Berry.

La Bettola is not what it used to be. Service quality/attitude has deteriorated very noticeably in the past few years. Food quality is still good but getting an almost-cold plate of pasta (which then became even colder because it took forever for Parmesan to arrive at the table) is entirely unacceptable. We miss the old Bettola.

Our server was friendly and efficient . The baked oyster mushrooms on and arugula salad was recommended . We shared two pizzas . All ingredients were of supreme quality , fresh and delicious !

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The service was attentive and friendly. The wines selection was extensive, if a little pricey, but we found the individual glass servings to provide excellent pairings for our meals. The duck ragu and pasta fungi was delectable. We were made to feel we could stay all night. The cafe affagato is recommended to end the meal.

We felt rushed through the meal, which was disappointing - we were still working on our appetizers when the main course was served. Half of the dishes served did not have any taste. An expensive meal for a disappointing experience.

Not as good as last time I was there, which was the reason for this return visit. In two words SALT OVERLOAD. Not impressed with our waiter - never introduced himself to me, almost zero in conversation, given this was a birthday dinner this part of it was most disappointing. Most of our food was good but my dish (Spaghetti Carbonara) was an over salted disaster. I didn't want to say anything in front of my guest (it was their birthday) but when he came to get plates, my guest was finished and he left mine (obviously assuming I was not done) Never asked if I was done, or if there was there an issue? When I finally decided to tell him the kitchen missed on this dish tonight, he started telling me I should have told him earlier, it was the bacon etc. I challenged the bacon remark and he put up his hands saying he wouldn't question my judgement. Did he offer anything like a complimentary coffee at least .... NO .... In reading other reviews, I have found the salt level mentioned a number of times. I am undecided at this point if I would return, but if I do, this waiter will NOT serve me or my guests again, and I will be sure to monitor the salt levels. I have no problem paying top dollar for a meal. That said, I expect a top food experience and the service to match... Sorry to say it did not happen this evening.

We all thought the appetizers were fantastic, we wish there were more. The table ordered various kinds of pasta but it was a flip of the coin if we liked them or thought they were kinda boring. I'll dare myself to return one day when it's not New Years Eve.

Waitress and environment were good. Food was not good, we ordered 3 different pastas and an appetizer. All of them were tasteless, some were dry and boring. I could make better pasta at home. Also, I ordered the Bellini and it was horrible. I did complain about my pasta and asked for salt, pepper and cheese so I could fix it- they took that dish off the bill. Thanks for that.

Busy spot with great pizza and pasta dishes. Fairly large wine selection (lots of Italian). Snug for sitting and eating and lively for noise. Great neighbourhood spot for a Massey Hall pre-show dinner.
