   The food wasn't as good as it has been in the past. The Korean meatballs were delicious. The steak was good but the crab and lobster toppings were not very good. We were up sold on the lobster butter without realizing crab was also on top of the steak and it wasn't very tasted and took away from the steak. The mashed miso potatoes were very dry and didn't have much flavor. The lobster roll was not good. The best parts were the Korean meatballs and the carrot cake. The server was attentive once she got to our table but suggested an upswell that was not good.

   Used to be very good. Yesterday food lacked both flavor and quality. Will likely not survive when it’s lease expires unless they turn it around soon.

   Arrived for my brother graduation from college. 10 of us were seated promptly and introduced to our server Dasha. She was incredible! She was fun, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Everyone in my family really enjoyed their dishes especially my brother who loved his celebration steak. Thank you to the Dasha for such a fun night with great food and drinks!

   We had a great dinner, Havier was a great server. We could not decide which dessert to try so we got one of each, they were all excellent, and if your thinking about it, spend the extra 10.00 on the Waygu

    Friday night at 8pm. Not sure if this is normal, but the music was so loud we almost left. The table next to us did leave. Food was good and service was good.

    Our waitress was pretty disrespectful considering we had a birthday and party of 7. She was in a rush to get us in and out, messed up the bill twice, had the worst times to interrupt, and forgot to write down the birthday girl’s order, hence, bringing her food 20 minutes after everyone else. Overall, I was very disappointed

    We had a lovely time at happy hour on the patio. Our server was the best! I'd like to recognize him by name, but using the new self-check-out system, we didn't get a printed receipt, and one wasn't emailed to us. At any rate out server did everything possible to make our experience a great one and most importantly, turned down the blaring music so we could have a conversation at our table. We all enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere.

    Food was great! Service was way below average, especially for the price point. We waited at the table for over 20 minutes before waiving down the manager to alert them that no server had been to our table. We appreciated the appetizer was taken off of our bill, but it was served with dirty app plates and cocktails weren't filled to the top as one would expect. Overall just an OK experience.

    Have always had great experiences at Kona. They appeared understaffed for Mother's Day. Service was slow although server was working very hard running around to handle all his tables. We sat for over 20 minutes until we were greeted at the table and asked of we wanted drinks. neighboring tables who were seated after us received their orders before us. We had theater tickets so were on a bit of a schedule and felt stressed about being late due to the speed of service we received.

    The music was up loud in this restaurant and I did not realize it would be that type of place. I thought it was a bit more elegant family dining and there were a lot of families there since it was Mother's Day. So this made it hard to hear and talk. Our food took awhile to come out and one person's food came out way before others. The waiter did warn us they were backed up but then the appetizer came out fast. Food was good but I wouldn't rush back.

    I’m so sad. I really wanted this to be a great experience. We had reservations for 1:30pm but we were seated 2:10. Mother’s Day so they were busy… understandable . We ordered our food, and waited for TWO HOURS before we actually asked our waitress if she could follow up the order. She goes to the kitchen and comes back with 15 min maybe…. She was so apologetic and this review doesn’t reflect her but we decided to up and leave then, and have lunch, now dinner elsewhere. Boo.

    Our reservation was set for 1:00pm. When we arrived at 12:50pm, we were told they were a little behind. We did not get seated until 2:03pm. Once seated, our waiter who did an excellent job, stated the kitchen was way behind on getting the orders out, and we needed to order our food as soon as possible. Once we ordered, it took over an hour to get our appetizers. The main entrees were not served until 3:48pm, my mom's meal never arrived, as the waiter stated, someone had taken the meal. So, my mom didn't eat, and we ended up getting her a to go meal, which took another additional 35 minutes to make. So, we arrived at 12:50pm and left the restaurant at 4: 46pm. What is the point of making a reservation, if this is the type of service provided. It would be hard to recommend this restaurant.

    We had a 1:00 lunch reservation, arrived 10 min early. We were told they were running behind on reservations by 40 min or so. After an hour we still were not seated but had found a seat at the bar. After another 1.5 hour wait we still did not have our food. We had to threaten to leave before we got our food and even then 1 entree was not even edible. Very poor communication between the kitchen and servers, no managers on site to handle the over booking of reservations. We will most likely NOT return.

    I made a reservation and the restaurant was packed. It was Mother's Day so i expected it to be busy but it seemed that walk ins were getting in because we still has to wait more than 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Then, not until after the waitress took our orders, did she inform us that it would take at least 45 minutes for our food to come out. That would be 1 1/2 hours after our reservation time. We didn't have that much time and had to leave and settle for a quick bite somewhere else. I purposefully made reservations to have a stress free meal, but the inconvenience really put a damper on Mother's Day. The restaurant should have planned better. A few minutes late is completely acceptable but this was extreme. What's the point of making a reservation here?

    For Mother's Day May 14, 2023, we had made a reservation in advance for 1215pm. We arrived at 1217pm and were seated at about 1250pm. The waitress warned us that the kitchen was "crazy". Sure enough we didn't receive our entire meal until about 230pm and the pancakes were raw on the inside. Pretty crummy experience to say the least. I wouldn't normally take the time to post this but a few months ago we had a similar poor experience. On a bright note, the Manager was EXTREMELY apologetic and the waitress was as well.

    I was dining at Kona Grill for Mother’s Day with my daughter. We had the reservations at noon but the restaurant was running a half an hour late on reservation and everything else. Because of that, we did not even get served till 1:20 PM. That made us late for the opera that I had tickets for. Food arrived cold and we did not even have a time to eat it. I will never come back to this place.

    After making a reservation I thought I would get a better table than a high top next to the server enter/exit, very disappointing. Busy so the took one hour. One dish was wrong, the other was cold. Several people apologized profusely, insincere. I was made to pay for multiple Mimosa's even though the brunch and indicated bottomless Mimosa's. Zero tip was warranted and that's what I left.

    Love Kona grill on a regular basis. Fancy high end food. Decided to book their Mother’s Day brunch and it was like eating somewhere else. Low quality, seemed like buffet food. We got eggs Benedict without eggs and some got eggs Benedict without hollandaise sauce. It was a mess and poorly planned.

    We took advantage of the "Date Night" special and it was a great deal! $39 per person for 2 glasses of champagne, one appetizer, two entrees and one dessert! The food was alright, the service was nice, but overall it was a 4/5 star experience. We'll definitely go back :)

    Absolutely love Kona. Food is amazing, service has always been spectacular. Price is a bit steep but my wife and I both think its well worth it. We usually do brunch here which offers some extra items but have never been disappointed with anything.

    our appetizers were served before we got our drinks -not even water before that. The person who dropped off the app. did not bring silverware. I had to go find it. When we got our steak …again no steak knife. It took a while to find out waiter and it took him 5 minutes to bring one to us. Although, he was very nice - the service really isn’t great.
