   Nothing short of amazing! Everything is great from the start. Valet parking isn’t my thing but the people here make it a wonderful not so invasive experience. Great Atmosphere! Great Food! Great Drinks! If you want to experience Greatness indulge in Kona!

   We will be back. Kitchen was slow to get food out, we saw several tables complain. But our sever was fabulous and kept us informed multiple time. Food was fantastic when it arrived.

   Surf and turf- filet was blue(purple) in the middle asked for MR but more MB. Prime rib was dry and appeared to die in the window, Paid $8 for miso butter which was only a cold unmelted block of butter placed on top of steak. Server was nice, atmosphere was fun. For $130 I’ll take my money elsewhere next time.

   Very loud music, hard to converse. Food not prepared well or correctly; had to send one breakfast back & the other breakfast was mediocre at best. My friend asked for an english muffin or toast as her breakfast didn't come with it (what's up with that??) and then was charged $9 for it. No close-in parking except for expensive valet. Will not be returning.

   The night was a comedy of errors, we were seated at 7:45/8:00 for our 7:00 reservations (They did hand out champagne as we waited - so applause there). Then our drinks/food orders were placed by 9:00, dinner arrived around 10:00…everything came out 1 at a time leaving our party uncomfortable with eating in front of others who didn’t have food. Our waitress was kind, apologizing for slow service etc, but manager was so overwhelmed she didn’t even know what to say. We had pretty good attitudes, but I was embarrassed that I had made the reservation. I’ve heard restaurant week is crazy, this epitomized that! Food was good, but super loud atmosphere, I won’t be going back.

   This was my very first time eating here. Decided to try for restaurant week. Even having a reservation meant a 40min wait. Some guests were offered champagne to compensate, but not myself or my friend. After finally being seated we were not given any menus, and not one server approach us until I turned on the server call button. After another 15 minutes cocktails arrived. It got to the point that I had to go to the bar to get a refill. All in all the food was fine, but the service was the worst I've ever had. I understand as a former server that things cam be very hectic and busy. I usually always give servers the benefit of the doubt. But this was just horrible. With it being resturant week, you eould have thought Kona would be staffed up in order to impress first time diners. Very dissipointed, so badly wanted to enjoy my first time eating here.

    The server was friendly and kept us up to date on our food. We had reservations, but it was crowded and we didn't get our food for over an hour after we ordered. Not sure if there was a shortage in kitchen or overall staff. Food was decent, but would not recommend unless you have 3 hrs to spare.

    The waiter was great but we were there for 2.5 hours and only had a salad and prime rib. The kitchen was definitely very far behind and we waited 30 minutes for dessert before being told the chef was very far behind. We just gave up and left. The food was also just okay.

    Food was excellent, menu unusual but good. But service was exceptionally slow, not the fault of our server, but due to the extremely short and overworked staff. Also noise was so bad we could not hear those of our party sitting on the other side of the 4-person booth. And music on top of that! And you ought to quit charging for parking........

    Kona grill really went downhill in the last year or so for both service and food quality. I called before making a reservation for restaurant week and asked about gluten free options. I was met with a rude lady who admitted she had no idea at first, then vaguely said yes and that they could modify items to be gluten free. We had to specifically ask for the restaurant week menu and then we’re given just one menu for four people (most restaurants happily offer and try to promote their restaurant week menus). Appetizer wise, the meatballs were good but they were room temperature. The rice in the sushi rolls was so mushy and hardly had any fish. For entrees we ordered the prime rib (rare) and we were given a medium well, super fatty and chewy piece. Two of us ordered the salmon and fried rice, both on the medium side, and both of ours were well done and dry. The fried rice was decent aside from sitting in a pool of sauce. The Mediterranean chicken was SO dry and the entire entree was barely warm. It seems like they have their restaurant week menu items just cooked and sitting waiting instead of being cooked to order. Dessert options were a sad, bland cheesecake with a waxy and soggy “crust”. The brownie sundae wasn’t anything special, it just tasted like a store bought brownie. The scoop of plain vanilla ice cream was sadly the best part. Their restaurant week was $35/person but honestly was not even worth that.

    Despite a reservation, delay for a table was excessive (20 min). They were incredibly busy, which is great, but multiple errors with our order, which is not. Our waiters attitude and grace saved the day.

    This recent visit was the worst in over 20 years of dining at Kona Grill in CC. Reservation was slated for 7:30 and eventually sat at 7:50. Simple sushi order arrived over 45 minutes later. Sushi was underwhelming and overall a poor experience.

    We went for Denver restaurant week. We were not given a restaurant week menu and had to ask for it. We ordered our three courses. The main course came about three minutes after our appetizers came out, which made us feel we were at a turn and burn. This is not a cheap place to eat, so the decisions made by the wait staff were disappointing. Felt like we were at Chili's.

    We dined here for Denver Restaurant Week, and the food (one prime rib dinner and one glazed salmon) was great. The meatball appetizer was excellent, but the salad was regretably overdressed. Both the cheesecake and brownie dessert were a treat. We had been to Kona Grill before and knew it was loud because of the acoustics and music. While some people equate noise with having a good time, that is not us. We enjoy having a conversation without shouting. We'll probably return for the food, but we won't be lingering over a meal.

    Food was very tasty except the dessert (brownie) was very dry. Prime rib was prepared just the way I asked. So yummy. The wait for food was way too long. Sat at the table for a hour before we got any water/service.

    My group and I, as a whole, were very disappointed in Kona. I've been plenty of times in years past and really enjoyed it so to see how things have changed was sad. First of all, we had to move seats because we were placed in a booth by their bar galley and the smell was so bad we couldn't handle it and eating at the same time. Thankfully they were able to move us but we didn't realize that was the first of our problems. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and all of our entries came out before the appetizers- we were a group of six mind you. Our apps came out maybe 5-7 mins later but idk how some poke bowls and sushi rolls would take longer to make then 6 dinner courses. Two of the guests ended up with hair in their food - one in their dinner course (the salmon) and another in their dessert (the cheesecake) which that alone minus everything else at this point is alarming. All of the drinks we ordered came at an abysmal pace -'one was so late it came as our server was dealing with the check. they were not even busy, it was later on a Tuesday night and weren't even half full. Overall, the food was very average and service was slow and disorganized . When we complained at the end to the manager, she was nice enough to give us a discount but I will not be going back again.

    I took my daughter her for Denver restaurant week. The appetizers were absolutely fantastic (poke bowl and Picasso sushi roll). The entrees were good as well (salmon and prime rib) but the sushi is really the standout on the menu. Will definitely come back for a full sushi dinner. Our server was very charismatic and attentive despite being super busy.

    Went there for 5280 week & service was awful…empty plates left on table thruout meal…no water service during dinner…appetizers were delivered AFTER main course!!!..some appetizers were never delivered to us after our request specified several ingredients be left out!!! Mgr finally approached table & asked what ELSE was wrong!!Isnt that enough!!!!…finally mgr comp the meals but was not interested in making us feel that it was just because of lack of enough staff on grounds for 5280 week!!

    The Kona Grill I remembered is gone for good. Place is so noisy your can't have a conversation. Food was mediocre at best. Way overpriced. Only f=bright spot was our server who was doing his best despite the chaos surrounding him.

    Me and my best friend come here so often. The manager I think knows our faces now lol the Asian salad is my go to. The drinks are always great and the waiters are so easy going and kind. I appreciate the music here too, always upbeat. If you’re wanting a quieter experience, you may want to look elsewhere because this place is on the louder side but such good vibes and friendly people.

    Clam chowder is fantastic, that is what I keep coming back for. But the noise level is pretty extreme, good place to go if you don't want to talk to whomever you are dining with. Also prices seem a little high to me for what you get. I will probably eat there once a year, for their chowder, but at $14 for a bowl of soup it is a little too pricey in my opinion.

    They brought out my wife’s dinner plate out before our drinks and appetizer . After that they brought my dinner plate 1hr 20mins later. my steak was still raw probably the worst experience I’ve had. So my wife and I went next door 801 CHOPHOUSE let me tell you guys that place is a GO TO turned our bad night to the perfect night !

    We got two appetizers,a aside of fried rice and two drinks and the total was $80+ Our server forgot the rice - he brought it out when we were finished with our dinner. We dine here often - very disappointing- and it was not busy and there was plenty of staff. Don’t know what the problem was but very expensive for very little food!

    From incredibly slow service to horrible server, cold steaks, being pressured to payout, seeing 3 managers and not being able to get even one to come to the table… trash trash trash. Legit seemed like the whole staff hated the fact people were coming to the restaurant. Will never ever done here again! Only highlight was a very organized, fast and friendly hostess.
