   Took 30 mins to get a waitress once seated , 30 mins extra for drinks, steak was not good has to send it back twice only apologized but still charged even though third time it was well done NOT MEDIUM! Waitress lied said there is no mash potatoes so provided me French fries then another waitress is taking mash potatoes to another table smh - it was Mother’s Day n I wish I went somewhere else for dinner

   Hostesses on phone and not greeting customers, server made no eye contact, no silverware after multiple requests, wrong food came out three times, medium rare steak requested and then cooked to the core. I have never seen such a lack of service oriented people operating in an environment where it is most needed.

   Went in with my mother in-law to be and my fiancé. Was seated 30 min late when we had a reservation then it took another 2hours 30min for our steak and that’s only when I went to the front desk to tell them we didn’t have our food so the host herself went to the kitchen to bring it. It’s an open area so we could see her. The foos has been sitting there for a while so it was somewhat not as hot as it was supposed to be. She then went back to her post I guess. We waited for the chicken order for 17 more minutes after the steak and it never showed up. Mind u, that last order was for my mother in law so we were still waiting to eat together. Another thing was that, I ordered a white sweet wine for my in-law to be and had to remind our waitress after 28 minutes after being seated because she had forgotten that order. She then brings it in a jar with a champagne glass and sits it on the table without a word just runs off again. We had to wait another 15 mins for her to pass close by to call her and ask if that drink she brought was the moscato or if it was a champagne since she had 2 other champagne glasses in her hand when she dropped off our drink. (I was thinking she could have forgotten so brought champagne instead.) So I told her we had not touched the drink because we weren’t sure if she brought the right wine because it came with a champagne glass instead then she goes “ I didn’t know it matters what glass a wine goes into or what glass is used.” I was shocked because I thought that’s one thing that at least would be thought I’d u worked in a restaurant like that. And all this drama happened while we were waiting for our food that the third 1 never come out. We were seated at 7:31 pm with a and left there at 9:47pm with no food. Very disappointing. Will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.

   I really can't rate the food because we didn't stay. We had a reservation for 4, at 6:30 on Mother's Day. We were seated as soon as we got there, but in the outside section with the bar. They said nothing else was available for a other hour or more, so we took the table. The first thing the waiter said was, "I'm telling you now it's a 45 min wait on food." We asked if they had sweet tea and the guy said yes and came back with regular tea. His underwear were showing out the top of his uniform pants, and that was enough for me. The music was so loud that the server couldn't hear us and vice versa. We had to talk loud to hear each other. Basically we weren't feeling it, so I walked to get the car and went to another place. Luckily I recovered and found Mother's Day Dinner.

   Arrived at 4:50 pm for a 5pm reservation and was told there would be a one hour wait because the kitchen was backed up. Got a seat at the bar and planned to order dinner. After about 15 minutes, I asked a hostess if I could still get credit for my Open Table reservation and she said she could seat me at a table tight away. The restaurant was obviously understaffed, with wait staff busing tables and sweeping floors. Under the circumstances, staff members were very congenial.

    We arrived at our scheduled time only to receive drinks in one and a half hours time. There were many people who arrived after us that were practically done their food. Our waitress was very difficult to locate and the manager (when he finally came to the table after asking for him several times) didn't even want to listen to our concerns. Finally, my wife and I decided to just leave and get something else to eat. I wish my wife was able to enjoy Mother's Day.

    Made reservations for 8 people. We got sat right away, but at a table with only 6 stools. Our waiter did not know the menu very well and service was slow. One member in our party had her plate of food fall and sauce dumped on her. No one offered to help or get her a new plate of food. I ordered the chopped salad, it was dry and had no dressing. I asked for dressing and never received it. The waiter did take the salad off the bill. That was about the only good thing to come of the evening.

    We had reservations to avoid the lunch crowd. After finally being able to place our order, we waited 43 minutes for 3 very simple meals. The fries were woefully under-cooked; one of us never even received our side order; and no one there seemed to care. We had to hunt down our server for refills of our soft drinks and for our check that had to be modified for the raw fries and un-received portion of a meal. I will NEVER go back there!!!

    It took us two hours to get our food served and all we ordered were sushi rolls; no discounts, or consideration were given other than coupons for a rerun visit - why would I return? Manager should have done something, nothing was comped and very little in the way of an apology.

    We had a 12:00 lunch reservation for 12. Our entire party was on time, we were seated fairly promptly but then waited half an hour to be greeted by our server and get water. The restaurant was very busy and likely understaffed, which may have been beyond their control, but the entire experience was chaotic and stressful. Enters and appetizers came out piecemeal. Some people were done with entrees before appetizers arrived. 4 members of our party did not get their entrees until 2pm (two hours after our reservation time) and had to have them boxed to go. This was a staff appreciation lunch that ended up being a total disaster.

    I came for my birthday as a party of 5. We were seated in the back on the patio which was nice but we were from the dj and could barely hear the music which was a little disappointing. Overall I had a good experience!

    Decided to give the restaurant another chance and I was disappointed with the overall service. We were seated for about 15-20 minutes before I requested for the manager Antonio to address the issue. Our server Troy finally came and took our orders. He appeared new or at least gave that impression as he was very uneasy and tense while taking our orders- lacked social cues. We ordered drinks first 2 shots, Long Island and old fashion then ordered appetizers- Avocado egg rolls and Kona Calamari which were both really good! Our appetizers came out way before our drinks which were odd since we placed our drink orders first. We ordered our entrees Pad Thai and Filet medium well- which came out well done again; so I had to return and the chef came out and brought it to me himself lol I thought that was funny. The entrees didn’t live up to taste like the appetizers did. Overall, I would rate the visit 3/10. For a Resturant that boasts to be somewhat of fine dining, it didn’t deliver or meet my expectations. I Would only come back for drinks, appetizers and music.

    We were attending lunch because there is a 5,200 + people conference happening (right across the street) We booked a reservation and was told our wait would still be 30-45 mins. After having an issue with that. We were seated and waited 20 more mins for our server. Server came took our order, 90% of what we requested was not available. Following that she comes back 45 mins later to tell us another set of items is not ready. 30 mins from then something else that was replaced was not available. The food that did come out, came out staggered and cold. A manager came and assisted the table. - said he would come back yet a whole different manager that was snotty and rude comes back twice! After requesting to see the other manager, who respectfully had many other tables to tend to….. came back, comped the meals, laughed and joked with us a bit. Then, have us desserts. The servers was non nonchalant about the 4/5 mistake she made and only refilled out glasses once in the 3.75 hours - YES, you read that correct - that we were there, and with prompting. - However, the best Carrot Cake, I have ever had in my life!

    Great place and wonderful service! Very polite team and I was very aware that they always said “my pleasure” in answer to our thank yous. Lakeesha (I believe) was our server and she handled our large party with ease and lots of patience (4 kids under 11). Definitely a go to on our trips back to the Inner Harbor.

    My boyfriend and I went for the date night dinner experience. Service was terrible and slow. We waited for an hour and a half for a lemonade and Long Island. It took almost 1 hour for our appetizer and each plate took an additional 15 minutes after. We weren’t there during dinner rush. We arrived at 4:30 and didn’t eat until 6. It was a small crowd but nothing hectic. Our glasses were dirty and the drinks needed to be remade 3 times. It was a rough experience. The food at Kona grill is mediocre but the experience just made it a waste of time. I’m a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the experience

    Went for a small gathering. Restaurant was empty. Only a few people. Took server a while to get back to us. The appetizer plates were dirty and had to request another. Kona use to be nice. Not sure what happened but it’ll be a while before I go back.

    Very disappointing. Came for the Spam. What we got wasn’t Spam. In addition, what was served was missing items described on menu - no sauce, no avocado slaw, no sweet potato fries. Music was blasting altho it was turned down a little when we asked. Most amusing-we called the number on the website to get parking recommendations only to find that the person who was pretending to be at the Baltimore location was actually in Denver. Eventually connected us to Baltimore.
