Great meals at great prices
The staff were more than helpful. The food was fantastic. However whilst sitting at the back by the pizza oven a mouse was in the area. When I looked closer they were mouse traps in the pizza kitchen. I spoke to the manager who to her credit did not deny it however I wouldn't of sat us near that area. It put a negative feel what had been a really nice evening. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Kent's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
Lovely food, setting was reminiscent of a greek cafe - wouldn't necessarily say it was romantic or first date vibes. Quick service, went on a weekday and could easily hold conversation with my partner with two other tables in there and a table upstairs. The food is very filling but authentic and delicious - lots of meaty options more veggie options on starters than main but I still found something I liked the look of. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Welcome to the Black Horse, a wonderful pub in Perfick Pluckley.
This beautiful beamed country pub steeped in history was built in the 1470's as a dry moated farmhouse to the prominent Dering Family, with 5 log burning fires throughout the bar and restaurant. Ideally sited for the breathtaking walks around Pluckley and beyond. The pub is also well known for it's many ghosts, one of which being an invisible phantom who makes himself known by moving both glasses and possessions around the pub -which can go missing for days on end. Many customers have felt or seen the presence of a small child. This long history of happenings has been experienced by both the Landlady & landlord, and customers throughout the pubs rich history.
