Juniper was created out of a desire to take our family and friend’s kitchen-get-togethers to a larger space where we could invite more friends to enjoy great food, beverages and lots of laughter.
The food we prepare is fresh, seasonal, and homemade. We choose organic and local products whenever possible.
Breakfast can be as simple as a fresh-baked scone and a coffee to our signature hand-held bennie.
Lunch will feature fresh salads, soups and hand-crafted sandwiches.
Our evening menu is meant for sharing with options of snacks, appies, as well as heartier choices.
Throughout the day we’ll have options for the little ones – including a kid’s charcuterie plate.
Beverages will include organic coffee and tea, craft beer, wine and gin cocktails. A little something for everyone.
We’re looking forward to sharing our kitchen with you.

    We work one on one with our clients as far as building menus for all events. We can make suggestions and offer example menus to build upon. Start with small bites and signature cocktails, craft beer or wine.     While I specifically asked for a particular table on my reservation, this did not carry over into the cafe and so while they reserved a table, it was not the one I had hoped for and needed. Apart from that all good, especially the very kind servers.

    Went in tonight for the first time, on Valentine's Day. Great experience. The ambiance was perfect, the live entertainment was the perfect volume - not loud enough to interrupt the conversation, but just enough to be there in the background. Staff were exceptional, and the food was delicious. Will definitely go again!

    Our food was nicely displayed and was very tasty. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was extremely happy with their selection.

    My daughter and I went for Sunday brunch. Staff were smiling and greeting the patrons and though you have to go up to the front to order your food, the line moved very quickly and the food is brought to your table. Food was excellent and I believe that this happened because the menu for breakfast is quite limited. One positive - they had gluten free scones and other items which my daughter was happy about. Overall - a great place.

    My friend was in a wheelchair and it was difficult to get in and out of the restaurant. However, the food was very good.

    This was a truly awful meal. I brought my wife here for something special and she walked in - and saw the "kids play zone" (!) - what is this, McDonald's? We should have walked out. In order of the mistakes of the evening: 1. This idea of all these pages of menu is disorganized and hard to follow. 2. The waitress could not remember the soup and had an awful pierced lip and weird witch-like tattoos up the side of her leg which were visible on her too-short skirt. 3. The apple cider my wife ordered was almost room temperature - gross - and was illegally imported as there was no French on the label. 4. The beet salad had very few beets and it was $12. Rip-off. 5. My wife asked for the hot cheese dip without sausage, but it came with sausage and we had to send it back. Another one came out with 6. I had a very mediocre hamburger. tortilla chips from a bag that we all broken and not for dipping - "chip dust" basically. The place has no ambience. The chairs are uncomfortable and you feel like you're in a cheap pizzeria. Without the good pizza. Ugh I would never, ever come back. We had to go home and have beans on toast we were so hungry when we left.

    The food is simply excellent - every detail is carefully attended to. You order at the till, then take a seat and enjoy visiting with your guests. As it's a charming neighbourhood place, you'll often meet people you know at the next table. There's even a play area for kiddies, though I don't think I've been there when there were any children. It's lovely.

    The food was excellent. You could taste the freshness in the food. Highly recommend the ahi tuna.
