   Superb from start to finish. Perfect, really. Paul greeted us with my favorite 80’s soundtrack and convo about music - divine Kajagoogoo hits and reminiscing. Brandon gave our table exemplary service and brought our experience to life. Daniel provided expert wine support. It could not have been better. The vibe is awesome, the decor fabulous and the food memorably delicious. We had apps, salad, grilled fish and walnut cookies and crepes for dessert. Every moment was a gem. All of the reviews are right - this place is the best.

   Started with the arugula salad which is my fave. Very simple The grilled octopus melted in your mouth and the grilled shrimp were very sweet and delicious. I love that things come very simple with a little bit of olive oil, lemon, and parsley. We ended the evening with the risotto Nero. Black squid ink risotto. This is delicious. It’s like being back in Venice.

   I wish I could give 6 stars.Secind time for me.Exceptional food,great team.Overall great experience. Price is what it should be for that kind of food and service.Even for my kids it was the best part of their trip next to Niagara Falls.Lovely people and great art.Josis was one a great artist and talented man.I hope this place stayes in business forever.

    My new favorite restaurant in Toronto! If your a seafood lover this is your place to go!! My Croatian friend at work recommended me Joso’s and I’m glad I went. Had the Leonardo pasta (10/10) and the prawns (10/10) simply to die for!!! Can recommend this place enough service was amazing the waitress took care of all of our needs and her food recommendations were spot on!!

    Joso’s has a very unique ambience within the resteraunt, it’s very small but very interesting in appeal. The service is outstanding, to put it simply, the serving staff are all great at their job. The seafood is second to none, great food. One of my top resteraunt experiences in Toronto.

    Had to hang our own coats on arrival. Wine was mistakenly poured into used prosecco glass. Felt rushed. Two different servers each asking if we were ready to order.

    Haven’t been to Joso’s in over 20 years and sincerely regret that. So happy to say upon my recent visit things have not changed much, and that is wonderful, why change something so great. At Joso’s you definitely get it all, incredible service, fantastic ambiance and terrific food. It honestly felt as if we were in Croatia, which I have visited three times. My wife who is Croatian felt like she was back home. Thank you to the blissful service and magical food.

    Let me start off with- my family doesn’t eat shellfish-Joso’s specialty. I booked the restaurant in a total “fan mom” moment, specifically requesting the table Drake used as his album backdrop. My husband and daughter were shown to the booth, upstairs, in the corner. The restaurant is packed with eclectic pieces of art- many by Joso himself. The space is both small and open- tables are close together- but, never claustrophobic . Sculptures, portraits, lamps, shells- the abundance of personal items are everywhere. Looking at the menu, I thought we would all end up eating spaghetti and Marinara - leaving off the shellfish that was such an integral part of the menu. Then…..they brought out the “fish of the day” platter to pick from. At least 10 types- from Halibut to Sea Bass- to mussels and prawns. We ordered two salads. The Halibut and the Sea Bass, with a side of ratatouille . White wine from Croatia , followed a wonderful Negroni and an Old Fashioned. My other daughter and her friend joined us after the meal for dessert. Crepes and homemade gelato- divine! The men and women running the restaurant are perfect- attentive, knowledgeable and very aware of our need to take multiple pictures posing as Drake. We were actually given a statue to use—-my “ fan mom” dreams came true. Like. Really. True. Thank you so much for a memorable evening- fantastic food and lovely service! Happy New Year!

    We really enjoyed our time at Joso’s. The service was amazing, the servers were very thorough and helpful with the menu choices. The display of the daily fish offerings was very cool and we really appreciate learning the different types of fish. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back!

    First time at Joso's and won't be my last. Loved the cozy, eclectic atmosphere, the beautiful artwork and of course the food. The waitress & service was great, I was just expecting her to be a bit more personable and enthusiastic about the recommendations she made. The food was delicious, particularly loved the Scorpion whole grilled fish and the spaghettini cooked in squid ink with cuttlefish. A must! Thank you for the lovely evening.

    Fabulous service and attention in this unique family upscale Croatian restaurant. Delicious food, largely seafood based. Artwork abounds, with lots of nudity and breasts! But stylistically it works.

    Don’t have high expectations or you will be disappointed. The biggest fail was when a massive fly landed on our table while we were eating. Food isn’t so great considering the amount you pay in the end.
