   We had a great meal as usual. “Tee” was our server. She was top notch and deserved the over tip every penny. The restaurant provided a “loyalty” menu which was great. Definitely will return soon.

   I'm a fan of the Talk of the Town restaurants. This is a lovely place to dine. I took the wife there for her birthday. They did bring her a small cake with candles after the meal. I ordered the bone in ribeye. However, my steak came out with way to much salt on it. It was cooked the way I wanted just over salted. They cooked me another. When the manager brought it to the table he asked my to cut it to check if it was cooked properly. I said yes but let me taste it, yup, way to salty. He thought I was unhappy with the doneness. I may one day give them another try.

   We have been here a few times before, with a group and with just a couple of friends and have never been disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside and a fun bar/patio on the outside with live music. The food is very well prepared and fantastic. The salad is huge and so delicious with hidden potato salad underneath, a lovely surprise. Steak and seafood are cooked to perfection. I cannot even describe the portabello mushroom appetizer - Amazing! Service was friendly and professional. Valet parking. We highly recommend this restaurant.

    Wonderful evening. It was a first time at Johnnie’s,, but not the last. The food was delicious, the service by Cork was wonderful. He made great suggestions. We thought we were going for a steak, but they have calves liver on the menu and Cork said we would not be disappointed. It was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

    Overall, a good meal and good service. The grouper entre was over cooked and over seasoned but the big boy tater tots were outstanding. On the whole, Johnnie’s is quality food in a nice setting but a bit pricey. Sadly, we sat next to an inconsiderate diner who didn’t mute his phone and made 2 phones calls from his table right next to us. Upscale dining is NOT the place for cell conversations and it should be a policy to take the phone outside for conversations.

    Food was excellent. More attention to detail on service needed. Missing food entree on food delivery, silverware not replaced between courses, ground pepper not offered with salad course. Empty wine glasses through out meal.

    Hostess told us she could not split a party of 9 between 2 tables close, then took us past several - and we had made reservations weeks ago. She was obstinate. Waiter interrupted conversation several times. We most likely will never return. This used to be one of our fav while in Orlando for an annual international Conference.

    We were a party of 4, there for over two hours to get our food. Wasn’t even busy. Food was great, server was great, service was very slow. Steak came out undercooked, had to send it back and my husband ended up eating alone as the rest of us were finished eating by the time the mistake was corrected. The manager took the steak off the bill, which we appreciated, but the entire dinner service took too long.

    Love this place ,one of my favorite restaurants. We had a party of 10 and got the room located in the back,very private & clean. I suggest the bacon appetizer to any and everyone who goes. Our server was Linda she did great handling our rambunctious group as well as answering our questions about the items on the menu. Reccomend this place to eat a good dry aged steak.

    I made a request when I made my reservation but that did not happen. And when it came to paying my bill with gift cards that I bought in December and never used I was told that one of the cards had no value left. I was totally embarrassed in front of our guests. This is the second time this has happened. Now I worry that the gift cards I gave away as Christmas gifts will be turned down. Don’t think I will ever go back to any of the taste of the town restaurants. What a shame as we used to go several times a year.

    We sincerely enjoyed our visit to Johnnie’s Hideaway. I visit my good friend down here in Orlando several times a year and we make time to have a nice dinner out each time. This was our first visit to Johnny’s and it did not disappoint. The oysters, escargot, oak grilled snapper, and the Madagascar shrimp were all superb. The service we received was top notch, our server was knowledgeable friendly and most accommodating. We took at least two of his recommendations and we are absolutely thrilled. We will definitely be making Johnny’s Hideaway a regular stop! I don’t remember our servers name and I do apologize for that. He is from New Zealand and had only been working for Johnny’s for a little over a month when we visited we sat out on the patio.

    Best meal we have ever had (not home cooked). Jeff provided amazing service. The calamari was crispy, yet still tender with amazing flavor. Complimentary pickles were seasoned to perfection. House salad also had great flavor. The filet was EXTREMELY tender and perfectly cooked. The colossal lobster was pure meat, very thick and flavorful. The triggerfish special was tender and full of lemon flavor. The piña colada cake and key lime pie were also delicious.

    Magnificent food, everything was perfectly cooked, and tasted as good as it looked. We enjoyed the delicious Trigger fish and the hand breaded shrimp. Dessert consisted of creme brulee with berries was smoth and creamy. The drinks at Happy Hour were perfectly made, and the bar food, tuna nachos and he fritters were not only great, but were priced just right. The staff was terrific! Jonathan, Jessica, Jeff, Linda, Rhonda & Neil made our evening even more enjoyable. wee will return again . Thank you all for making our evening memorable.

    Food was excellent but service was extremely slow. Don't know if it was just our server or if this is the norm. Once we got seated, didn't get waited on for at least 15 minutes until the manager ask how things were going. She bought our first round of drinks, which was really nice. Our server was very nice and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. But again, extremely slow. He only had two tables that he was servicing. By the time we got our bill, we had been there for over 2 hours. Again, excellent food but if you have somewhere to go after dinner, go somewhere else.

    We were welcomed graciously as soon as we stepped inside, our table was decorated specifically for our Anniversary with Orchid Blooms and an Anniversary Card offering us a special blessing at Johnnie’s Hideaway! We started with a Special Shrimp 🍤 Cocktail with perfect Shrimp and sauce, a Tastefully Sweet Moscato Asti Wine and then we were served The House Special Salad, ingredients are a secret, and then Hawaiian Trigger-Fish topped with crab and a delicious sweet sauce! Kay was our exceptional Waitress and Server and we had a Manager stop by three times to also check on us and bring us a tasty lobster bisque! All was wonderful! Thank you Johnnie’s Hideaway! ❤️

    We had a great visit to Johnnies hideaway for my husbands birthday 2/21/2020!! Wow!! All I can say is that everything from the hostess being warm and friendly to incredible over the top service from “Lenny”, ...from delicious, huge portions that were prepared so perfectly all the way to the insanely delicious butter cake! OMG!! If you haven’t had the butter cake it’s a Must!!! And the wine list.....so wonderful! I love Napa cabs and the selection was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. The only negative was that I live in Tampa area so the drive was not good. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get there so I was glad that the perfect evening at the restaurant made up for the horrible drive in.
