   Experience was ok. A little underwhelmed with the food. Service was fine, the lighting was so low that it was difficult to see the menu. Overall ok. Wouldn’t rush back.

   Absolutely beautiful setting. Classic. Joe’s does not disappoint. If you are on a budget, this isn’t the place for you. But if you have an expense account or don’t mind blowing some cash on a great experience, this is it. The Dover Sole is AMAZING!

   The food and service at Joes is great. And the ambiance is very soothing and nice place to go with friends or for a romantic dinner or lunch. I was dining with friends - one who had a birthday recently and they provided a very nice birthday dessert to help her celebrate. One of my favorite things at Joe's is the Crab Louie Salad - it's fantastic - as good as one you might get in San Francisco at the places that specialize in Crab Louie. Two of us dining had that. Our other diner got the Lunch special - a petite filet, potates and a veggie plus Key Lime pie - quite a value .. We were recently told to try the spinach stuffed mushrooms and now they are one of my favorite starters. The waiter was great and also near and checking on us. Prices are a little on the higher side but it is worth it for the quality and service and atmosphere. Great place to go! I try to make it there every few weeks..

   Another great experience at Joe’s. Table request was graciously honored. My friend had a dietary restriction concerning dairy and the server was knowledgeable and very aware of the menu. Presented non-dairy dessert options proactively. Food was delicious as usual. Hushed and relaxing atmosphere.

    The waiter we, Chris, was fantastic. The food was amazing. I don’t recall there being so many tables so close together. Seemed extraordinarily crowded for an upscale restaurant.

    Worst experience ever at Joe’s. Waitress was terrible… took orders and disappeared never to be seen again. My entree didn’t even show up… until after all other members of my party were done and dishes cleared. Maitre’D/ Manager said meal was coming in three minutes when I inquired and it took another 20 minutes after that. Service was inexcusable… food was ok and management was irresponsible in fixing an embarrassing situation when dining with friends. NOT the Joe’s I loved and respected… unbelievable and last time!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

    We took our kids out for dinner in Chicago looking for a fun spot with great service and yummy seafood. Boy, did we hit the jackpot with Joe’s! Just a lovely experience, one we will all remember and talk about for years to come.

    When making our reservation online, I had made reservations for 4 people plus 1 infant. The restaurant called to confirm our reservation a couple days before and I made sure to tell the lady I talked to that it would be 4 adults plus an infant. She confirmed that is what it said on the reservation and that they would have a table for us that would work for that. We arrived on time for our reservation and checked in at the desk. The man there was rude and scolded us saying that we should have made our reservation for 5 people if we wanted an infant with us. I explained that I had made note of that the whole time and confirmed it over phone with the staff person who called to confirm our reservation. I also explained he would be on our lap the whole time and would not need additional space as we would not have a car seat or anything. The baby had been in a car seat on the road for 8 hours that day and we did not want to put him back in a car seat. He continued to scold us and said “if it’s a heart beat it’s a person and should have been included on reservation”. He would not listen to the fact that I had spoken to someone and confirmed everything. He said we may have to wait a while longer for a table as they are a high end sought after restaurant etc. This definitely did not start our night off on the right foot as we had been looking forward to this meal for weeks. After 15 minutes or so we were seated in the same corner booth that he said they had planned to put us in and it had plenty of room for us to hold the baby. We did have to wait a while to order our drinks etc but once we got started everything arrived in a timely manner. Our waitress was Gorda and she was very attentive and helpful in making recommendations. The food was delicious. Only other downside was how crowded tables were in the middle of the room and the resulting noise level meant Gorda pretty much had to yell to be heard. This hurts the ambiance of such an upscale restaurant.

    Joe's always has superb, fresh seafood, whichis what we go there for, I have friends that love their steaks as well but we have only had the seafood. The stone crabs were delicious as were all of our side dishes. The wine list is excellent as well and serviceoutstanding. Our server, I think her name was Mary, was terrfici, somewhow friendly and never seemed rushed though we could see she had a lot of busy tables,

    We experienced a delicious meal in celebrating a birthday. The Stone Crab is just out of this world and so fresh...highly recommend it. It arrives at your table chilled, cracked, and ready to eat. Our server, Jennifer, was pleasant and helpful in our selection of wine to pair with the crab. We were very pleased with the outstanding service and overall, it was a real satisfactory dining experience.

    Good variety is awesome. Anywhere from bar food to decadent steaks and the freshest stone crab! Wines by the glass are reasonable but bottle selections are pricey. Loves the service by Joshua-very attentive and we asked for our courses spaced out so we could enjoy the food and conversation.. Perfect ! Love joes in Vegas , Chicago and Miami !

    Service: Colleen was an incredible server. We thoroughly enjoyed her and her glowing personality. She made certain to make my mom feel very special for her 70th birthday, which I could never thank her enough for. Food: We ate bread, stone crab, crab bisque, grilled seafood platter, key lime pie and coconut cream pie. All were divine. I can't think of a single complaint or critique in this area. Ambiance: The staff were all dressed in tuxedos, but diners wore whatever they wished. There are lovely lamps to light the space. The tablecloths and napkins are nice linens. Cleanliness: When we were there it was extremely crowded as it's time for the St Patricks festivities and spring break. Somehow, the staff managed to keep up with demands. The entire space was very clean, including the bathrooms. TLDR: We have dined all over the world, including at Michelin Restaurants. We found Joe’s to be among the best of the best. Though it's far from us geographically, we will be back.
