   We were there to celebrate my daughter’s retirement. After all, a special occasion called for a special restaurant. Jimmy’s certainly was the best choice. We received a warm welcome at the front desk. Gregory, our server, was knowledgeable about the food offerings, personable, friendly and was a great representative for Jimmy’s. The atmosphere was friendly and uplifting. Gregory and other members of the staff were friendly and made my daughter feel special. Did I mention the food? OMG it was amazing! Appetizers, steak, crab cakes, delicious sides and dessert were outstanding. We will be returning in the near future. Thank you for not just meeting, but exceeding our expectations.

   Excellent food! Everything was delicious!!!! Love that the steamed crabs included steamed potatoes and corn as well. Oysters Rockefeller are the best anywhere!!!

   Besides the pastas, the food was good. But the service was not! After telling the waitress I didn’t like the veggie pasta because I assumed it would include vegetables and not just peppers and onions, she snapped back saying I should have read the menu and there’s nothing that could be done. I told her the menu does not specify what vegetables are included. Apparently the manger approved my request and remade the pasta including broccoli asparagus tomato’s and mushrooms. I waited until it was made, paid the full bill and left. I chose not to patron there because of the rudeness! Waitress needs customer service training!

    The restaurant was pretty busy since it was a Friday night. Wait staff was very friendly. Drinks took a while to get to the table but the food came out incredibly quickly. Everything tasted amazing and we had a great time.

    We went for a birthday lunch… Had the jumbo crabs… they were so delicious… Of course there were other people there but a large group of people were seated and sooo loud.. so if you don’t mind the loud parties it’s great …the desserts were really good too..I would definitely recommend this place.

    The food at Jimmy's has changed, myself and my family have been there numerous of times. The quality and taste were not to anybody in my parties standards. The food took a very long time to come and everyone would agree the food was salty and tasteless. Then a you add a labor of love on your bill, bad enough the service was not that good so to tack on this fee is ridiculous. Myself or my family will not be returning.

    Made reservation to ensure dining hall seating. Service was great but was surprised that the drinks were not free refills. Ordered lemonade and every refill cost. Not a problem if this was known. There was an additional charge called a Love service tax that was not explained.

    Great all around. We had reservations and maybe 5 minutes after we sat. Service was quick and our orders were on time, hot and good. I had the Boss that is a huge 1 lbs of jumbo lumb goodness. Best I've had and I've been around. Cream of crab was good also with a nice amount of crab. Will be back soon

    Jimmy's was amazing! The food, the service all were just so outstanding. The fish was fresh, the taste was impeccable, Everything about the food was so good. The only downside is how loud it was inside. They had a live saxophone player(who was incredible) but we were sat right next to him and it was so loud we were yelling at each other from across the table. The second downside was we were sat right by the door that lead to the outside patio, and every time the door opened the cold air which was 30 degrees would blow on us. It was very cold and uncomfortable. Apart from those 2 things, it by far is my favorite food place here in Maryland.

    Not impressed. Why do restaurants limit purchases to different areas of the restaurant? We were trying to order a seafood club but was told we had to be either in the bar ( the other side of the wall) or in a different part of the restaurant or different time. Food we did get was ok but not going back.

    The service and food was excellent. We ordered the Mussels which were hot and delicious. The Crab egg rolls which were to die for and the soft shell crabs which were so good. For our cocktails we ordered The love potion which was served with dry ice.

    Was a disappointing experience overall. Of my many visits that have all been positive, this sucked. Three of the five guests were on time for the reservation ready to eat with the other 2 questionable if they would attend. Telling us to wait at the bar versus seating us and started the downward visit. What made it worse, after we were seated, 4 people of a large party (maybe 10-12) were seated as soon as they walked in. The rest of that party staggered in over the next 20-30 minutes. I called ahead of time to make sure you had crabs. I was given the impression you were fully stocked. Imagine my shock when the waiter says there's only 18 crabs for the day! Wth? 6 med/ large and 12 so called jumbos. Unfortunately, these had to be older crabs cause several had the spoiled crab smell. Out of many visits there, definitely the worse batch of crabs I've been served. Positives: Waiter was pleasant over all. The drinks were good. The ambiance was nice as always. Last gripe. The Labor of Love charge is BS! A 3% charge on the bill without being notified prior. Honestly, it took additional funds i might have considered for my waiter. Either pay your staff properly or continue adjusting food prices. I'm not there to get nickled and dimed.

    The food was amazing but it was the service for me. We had Gregory H. and he went above and beyond explaining the menu, checking in on us and making sure that we didn't need anything! If you go there, I highly recommend that you ask for him. You will have a wonderful experience!! Gregory H was the BEST!!!!

    Jimmy's has some of the best crab cakes around. The wait staff is very friendly and responsive. They were kind enough to give us a table even though we were about 25 min late due to traffic.

    I enjoyed the atmosphere and people sitting next to me were very friendly. I tried to Klingon to one bartender who was very helpful. I haven’t been to Jimmy’s in years but I had a wonderful time. I would come again.
