We've always enjoyed Jak's for a night out, but I do have to admit that the way your steaks are served is pretty underwhelming. Ordering a split side salad to start was helpful, but we really miss the days when you would serve steak, potato and vegetable on a beautiful plate together. The sad little plate with a filet and plop of mashed is less than exciting when served. To the chef's credit, the steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious, and to the waiter's credit, the description of the chef's doneness levels was spot on, as was his service. In all, I feel like presentation should matter at that price level. It's feeling more like a 'week night-wear jeans-grab a steak' than a special celebration night out restaurant.

Excellent food, as usual. Last time had a very minor situation with when food was brought out and this time - no issues at all! Service was excellent! Bread, salads, and main course! Everything tasted delicious. We had the skewers and the prime rib dip.

When you’ve been going to Jaks for years it’s sad to see how downhill it’s gone :( Miss the old Jaks- like a lot of people

Great cocktails with an amazing bar tender. The quality of food was superb and our waitress was wonderful! The beef tartare was not my favorite, but everything else was unbelievable and prepared perfectly!

While we had excellent service, the food was just average for being being a little costly. We used to frequent JaK’s and have not been back for a couple of years. I don’t think we will return after being disappointed in our meals. My halibut was dry (cooked too long) and was lacking enough beurre blanc sauce. The steak was cooked to the requested doneness temperature but was under seasoned. Salads and brussel sprouts were the stars of the meal.

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The food and service were immaculate, and they comped us for dessert. We'll be back.

Our food was cooked to a perfect medium rare! They adjusted dishes to some dietary needs. Great selections of wine and whiskey. The carrot cake was delicious. Our server was very, very friendly, helpful and efficient!
