Food was delicious except that the broccoli rabe had way too much garlic (and I love garlic). Everything else was perfect. Parking is an absolute nightmare though. Virtually impossible on a Saturday night. That alone will make me think twice about going back. Perhaps during the week but weekends forget about it.

I found this to be a nice find. Food was good. The refer to themselves as the best Italian in Baltimore and while it is nice to see that they believe that it just hard to take that seriously without bread on the table. thats a basic Italian restaurant staple. The espresso ice cream was awesome, the Carbonara was good maybe some parmasan at the table or pepper offering would have made it better. i will recommend to friends as it is a good place to eat not expensive and great staff.

Our sever was excellent! Cheerful and a great sense of humor! We loved the vibe of this restaurant. We look forward to returning to try their pasta dishes. We went there for National Pizza Day. We prefer pizza that is a little more crispy but it was still good.

The risotto was definitely different than any risotto I ever had. More of a shrimp stew. Chicken parm was very good. Meatballs and grilled octopus also very good.

Overall the experience was excellent. The pizza was delicious and just large enough to leave you wanting more. We normally don’t order dessert, but gave it a try. The Strawberry Pistachio cake was fantastic. The flavor was bold, texture perfect, and the strawberries and whipped cream, topped it off. We would definitely dine here again and recommend it to others.

I came with a group of four for New Year’s Eve. We had a great time! The food is fantastic, as are the cocktails and wine. It’s a cool space and doesn’t feel overly fancy. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was terrific. Our table covered off many of the appetizers and all were delicious. We all went for the pizza as our mains, but they were all different. Every one of them was great. Service was friendly and professional.

Difficult to hear at table. Even with hearing aide, which in restaurant mode made hearing worse by highlighting loud talkers across the room at bar. Weird acoustics!

Had a great experience, appetizers were excellent. Had meatballs, grilled octopus, kale salad, all were outstanding. Main dishes were good, but not the best we’ve had at Hersh’s. Would 100% go back, issues were mostly with taste and probably one offs. Love them.

Hersch’s was more than what we expected. It’s in a quiet part of town and close to 95. The food was fantastic, especially the meatball appetizer and wood fired pizza. We will go again definitely. They also offer a 6 person meal you must schedule a week in advance. We plan on bringing friends. The drinks and service were exceptional. Great date night for myself and husband.

The food was delicious. Handmade pasta and pizza, and fresh baratta, though I wasn't a big fan of the desserts. We made a reservation and they were accommodating when we showed up early. The bathrooms are weird, not labeled as such, and it was pretty loud since the restaurant is small, but I definitely recommend it if you have the money.
