    This time we came here for brunch. Compared to the dinner last time, it was a bit noisy and busy today. We have ordered a Hart House breakfast and a Eggs benedict. The potato pieces were crunchy and delicious. The sausages and the ham were a bit too dry. But overall the ambience and the food are above average.

    From walking in the front door to leaving the restaurant, everything was immaculate! The restaurant was cozy and beautiful, server was absolutely amazing, and the food was to die for! 100% would recommend this restaurant, especially for a special night out! P.S - ask for Gabrielle, she was one of the best servers I've ever had!!!!!!!

    Bad table location in spite of a specific request ... There was a door to the outside right behind my chair with children coming and going out there. (so, drafty) The table was right beside a window with a view of the lake so that was nice... Noisy table with about 8 people also beside us. Waitress was good.

    Lovely restaurant, excellent service (although I felt the waitress was always trying to "sell up"), and delicious meal (had wild mushroom risotto, although $7 per additional scallop seemed a bit steep). Would definitely return.

    It was a beautiful October day and many people were eating lunch on the patio. It was a business lunch so it was important to hear the conversation. The room had other guests but it was quiet to carry on our business. Our server was exceptional, the food was great and ambience was relaxed. Enjoyable experience.

    We go to Hart House a couple of times a year for special occasions and the Thanksgiving menu was both abundant and tasty. There was a reasonable portion of both the soup and entre and chef Raul did a wonderful job. The service was attentive and love the feel at Hart House. We look forward to our next visit.

    Fish and chips dreadful. Strips , not crispy, falling apart, no malt vinegar available, coleslaw a few shreds of purple cabbage, could not taste dressing. Everything was Luke warm including skinny french fries. This meal definately not worth the price

    I made a reservation for myself and two friends visiting from Australia. As always, I wasn’t disappointed and my friends loved it…….from the location, the furnishings and the food and service. We shared the charcuterie board for starters and 2 of us had the mussels and clams and the other guest had the halibut. We finished with the cheesecake. The service is always great here but last night it was impeccable with explanation for dishes and checking to make sure we were happy. It’s my go to place for fine dining in Burnaby!

    White table cloth, fine menu & proper service. We started with scallops & followed with superb lamb and beef mains, leaving no room for desert. Also of note, our server was able to offer a wine to our tastes. Room is very pleasent.

    We were greeted by a very friendly host. Our server was fantastic. The room we were in was perfect. Fresh air with the door open to the gardens and all glass. The food was very good especially the pomme frites. A great experience.
