We had a lovely lunch celebrating a friend's new job. Gregorio's is comfortable, cozy, and relaxed. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and there is a varied menu selection. Food is delicious!
I ordered the chicken parm and I am not sure if it was veal.
Overall, some of the dishes were good-pork chop, veal picatta, but soup, risotto, linguini with vegetable were tasteless. I've noticed the decline in the food taste over the past year. Sorry but it's not good Italian food. I do think their pizza is good. Not worth the price of admission.
We went to Gregorio's for Valentine's Day. Our drinks came promptly as did the salad. The salad was wilted and not very appetizing. The entrees were very delayed in coming and our server appeared to be actively avoiding our table. We were only offered a second drink after the entrees arrived. When the entrees finally arrived, they were good, but I had to give my husband my water as his water glass did not get refilled and we couldn't catch the server's attention. Although it was Valentines Day and we had planned on ordering dessert, we didn't feel like staying any longer and called it a night. The experience was not particularly enjoyable, which is disappointing as the food was not bad overall.
Dinner was good but dessert was not. The tiramisu was covered in cinnamon instead of chocolate. The layers had barely any (if any at all) espresso, chocolate, or liqueur flavor. It was definitely not a traditional Italian tiramisu, although it was a tasty cinnamon cream cake.
The food was good but the dining room has a cafeteria feel. Way too bright no ambiance the place needs dimmer lighting, candles maybe a flower on the table and a tablecloth
Dined here on Christmas Eve with my family. We all found the menu items to be overpriced for what you were given. Breadsticks were good, however we found the pasta to be too buttery and the meatballs were less than desirable.
Decent service and friendly staff.
We had a great meal. Service was great. Loved that we could have a cocktail with the meal.
I have had better meals at Olive Garden. The food was bland. Alfredo had no flavor at all. Caesar salad was like it came out of a bag at the grocery store, and there was almost no dressing. The ravioli was swimming in butter. Wait staff was not too attentive. All in all, not worth the price. I really wanted to like it. I was very disappointed.
Always pleasant staff make this a good choice for diners.
Good food, slow service, did not need a reservation.
Good Italian food. Huge portions, but a little pricey. We enjoyed our meal, and will probably go back again.
My wife and I love Gregorios! Sometimes we go for complete meals, sometimes we go to the bar and order Calamari (ask them to flash fry it - we prefer it that way - some people prefer it crispy...cooked more), meatballs and broccollini - small meal, tasty as could be, we order wines...it’s just super!
The wait staff are kind and helpful and want your meal to be right.
Love the food here. So delicious, and always more than we can eat. Staff are friendly and interactive. I've never had a bad experience when I've eaten here. Thanks Greg!
Restaurant was nice, food was ok, service was pretty good.
This was my third trip to Gregorios and it was as good as the first two. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. There is a large variety on the menu with many different price points. We will definitely be back.
Great Gluten Free Pizza too!!!
We enjoyed a great Easter lunch with friends.
Everyone enjoyed the food.
Excellent food that makes me think of my recent trip to Italy. Attentive service and a good value.
We had excellent service for our evening out at Gregorio's with family. Our server was extremely attentive & the food was just as we ordered. We love Gregorio's - Reston!
We went to Gregorio's Trattoria. It was not too busy where we were overwhelmed with everyone. I did reserve a table but we were right next to the window. So it was a bit cold but overall good time.
nice place to meet up with friends and not feel rushed. Busy but not stressful environment. The wait staff was nice but inexperienced. Food is good at Gregorios - I liked the garlic dip that they had when it was Mama Lucia's but the garlic knots served when you arrive are good. I had a pear salad which is very good. My husband loves their seafood pasta and he always asks for it with the spicy sauce. they are always happy to make special orders. It's a nice environment to be. They have a nice private room in the back for birthdays, business meetings, etc. I've never been there for this occasion but it would be a good option.
Excellent first time visit - great food and service. They could work on the wine list a bit but it was ok. Very happy to see a gluten free menu for my husband. Will definitely go back.
Go for the pIzza. My dinner companions had pizza and it looked great, they said it was very good. I was looking for a low carb option and ordered the zucchini/linguine pesto. It was really zucchini soup. It had no taste and was soaked in green liquid (actually spilling over the bowl). Very watery and flavorless.
This is our second New Year's Eve that we've had dinner at Gregorio's - Reston. The food is delicious and such a great value. We love the close proximity of the restaurant being in North Point and near home for us. The Italian offerings are great "comfort foods" -- we will be back soon!
Pizza was good, dinner plate foods were not.
Best pizza in the Reston/Dulles area!
Great food! Casual but very very tasty. Awesome gluten free options!
Excellent traditional Italian food!!!
Generous portions, great pizza, calamari was excellent and very attentive service.
Everything was fine that night except for the noise level. We were sitting in a booth & the people behind us were extremely boisterous & loud. Plenty of good food though -- Mom & I took plenty home for an extra meal.
Went there on July 3 and we were told when get had already gotten our drinks that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. UNACCEPTABLE. I do not like to be rushed while dining at a restaurant. If the restaurant wanted to close the kitchen early then it was their duty to alert us the minute we entered the establishment. Spaghetti was edible. Will not return.
Chicken parm was delicious
The food was great! Had a good experience will be back again for sure!!
Food was fantastic and service fast. We were there on non rush hour so it was pretty quiet. Kids loved their choices too. Great family restaurant!
Overall good experience been here 4x now and was satisfied every time. I would recommend Gregorio's.
The food from this fine Italian restaurant is one of the best my wife and I tasted. The pasta fagoli soup was outstanding along with the tomato sauce used for breadstick and knot dipping. The quantity of food served was ample (we ordered the veal saltimboca and baked ziti which were excell not) and it was a great value. The servers were very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed their ravioli. Next time we are in Reston to watch our granddaughters, we will eat at Gregorio's.
First time here, wife and I were looking for something different and really lucked out on this hidden gem. It's in a strip mall, about a mile or so from Reston town center, the food was overall excellent. The one item that surprised me was the marinara sauce with the bread, I found it initially sweet, but soon got used to it.
It's one limiting factor is a rather short wine list, but we found something appealing to try.
The server was pleasant but inefficient. Salads came out for all, but one, and finally the last one was delivered to our table, without apology or explanation, when the rest of us were half way through. Our main courses were delivered while we were still eating our appetizers and salads. We requested that the entrees be kept warm for a few minutes more. They were returned to the kitchen and brought back to our table in less than 5 minutes, without asking if we were ready for them, which we were not . The Shrimp dish was good, but the eggplant parm was tough, and the red sauce too salty. Before our plates were cleared, our bill was placed on the table without our server asking if anyone cared for coffee or dessert. The shrimp dish was charged incorrectly, at a higher price than listed on the menu. The server corrected it, explaining that he mistakenly charged for another shrimp dish, which was not the one we ordered. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We've been here several times before and this was the first time we were unhappy with our experience.
Really good red sauce Italian place with nice meat and fish options. Hearty portions and a great value.
We didn't want to eat out on Valentine's Day due to most restaurants having a fixed menu, and since this was a restaurant my wife wanted to try, we went. We had a really enjoyable meal, and the waiter was very friendly.
