Many of our popular entrée items have remained on our menu since the beginning, and are still being prepared with the same passion and love as they were that many years ago. This is one of our favorite places to get cozy/romantic and enjoy a great meal. I especially love the "unpasta" with Chicken Marsala. And, the garlic bread is always so good. We had a wonderful server, as always. We appreciate Gondolier!

Met a family member from south Denver and he recalled the Gondolier from college days on Broadway having homemade spagetti like Coloccis was in Louisville. Food was fine but lacked sufficient tomato sauce. No bread served with meal until ordered separately. We usually go to a location in Louisville where the spagetti is also done in house and includes salad and baked bread and olive oil and spices . These are all extras at Gondolier and not of the same quality for $14.50 in Louisville. Second time here and lets just say we gave it a try.

In our party of 6, the food and service were very good. My only complaint was that the table was too close to the entrance and (i) it was drafty and (ii) the greeting of the receptionist(s) was sometimes so loud as to be distracting. Seating at the back of the restaurant tends to be dingy.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and had them add chicken. There was a minuscule amount of cool chicken. The fettuccine was cold and in a clump. The sauce was tasteless and cold as well. For a restaurant that claims to Italian, this is the worse food experience and I was embarrassed by the fact that we had brought our out of town guesses there to dine. Will not go back nor recommend them.

Best pasta I've ever had. The Gondolier makes their own! This is the place to come if you want spaghetti a million times better than boxed pasta you could make at home. The marinara sauce is also delicious. The restaurant is in a good location and it's a fun atmosphere. Really nice place to come with friends, family, or by yourself for great food.

Hidden in a strip mall is this wonderful restaurant that needs to be experienced. The food reminded me of traditional recipes from years past and their wine list has several options to pair with your meal. If you find yourself in the area, this is the place to go for a specail occation or just in the mood for great food.

Our family has been enjoying the Gondolier since it began serving homemade spaghetti and meatballs, all you can eat for maybe $1.50 or thereabouts...and intergenerational (3) are now still enjoying the good food, very reliable and delicious taste, and the very plentiful selection of dishes. Keep up the good work...the Gondolier is one of our favorite Boulder restaurants ...we need to go to Longmont to try that venue/food, too. Thanks for your many years of helping us enjoy the Gondolier!

Although we all understood that they were short 2 servers, this book group has been coming to the Gondolier monthly for several years. We usually sit in the back where we won’t disturb the other restaurant patrons. The back room also accommodates a comfortable discussion and sharing of ideas among the members of the book group. We felt they could have set up our table in the smaller room to the left (east side) if the entrance without infringing on the rest of the people in the restaurant and the servers. This area would have worked much better for our group. Our server was very apologetic and provided the excellent service we have come to expect.

We had a couple from out of state that evening who needed to make a 2 hour drive to eastern CO. We were seated quickly; there was very little noise due to less than half the seating used. Yet it was a weekend night. Food came quickly. Appreciate that.

Definitely a locals' place for very good Italian food. The ziti bolognese, spaghetti Alfredo and the chicken parmesan were all great. The noise level is loud. Great for families. Only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars all the way around was the service was spotty - but given it was a Saturday night and packed, it was understandable. We will definitely return.

This was our second visit to Gondolier. The food is wonderful. I tried the vegetable spaghetti noodles. It's really worth the try. The choice of sauces is such a plus here. I am gluten free, so the choices are very nice, but hard to look at the garlic knots without wishing I didn't have to be GF. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. If you go early, you can have your choice of table areas. The booths or the tables are comfortable. We look forward to our next visit, as it's now our "go to" restaurant when we want Italian in Boulder.

Food was good, but took too long. Was my mother’s birthday, we had to wait for twenty minutes for dessert. When it didn’t come I inquired where it was, waiter said kitchen backed up, restaurant wasn’t busy. Was very disappointed no birthday dessert for mother. Unhappy about the way it was handled, no manager came over, just gave us the bill with no dessert. I think part of dining experience is service, and we left very unhappy.

Eaten here many times. Always dependable! We booked to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. Although they were quite busy (the whole city of Boulder is!), they did good by us with excellent service and food!
