Gianni's at the Former Versace Mansion
Really enjoyed the whole experience. From the check in to dessert the well trained staff were pleasant and consistent. The food was really delicious. The best part was the ambience. This is a beautiful place to enjoy with a loved one or with the whole family. While a bit pricey I thought it was worth it.
Gianni's is beautiful! They give you a really pleasant experience! Long live Versace
My favorite place for lunch old world food fabulous
Had to wait 1h30 for a table despite our booking. Offered to wait in a small room with 20 people « the bar ». Food was cold. People were dressed poorly. Terrible experience.
Good food, but nothing special, really pricey, the service was ok
52nd wedding anniversary
I took my mother here for a surprise lunch while visiting Miami and we were both blown away ... such a special day!!!
Beautiful ambiance and great service! The food was delicious and our waiter was very well versed in the history of the mansion!!
The place is lovely. Food is great. Our server was excellent. The outside music did not bother us, but it might to someone else. We loved the experience.
We made a reservation for a Sunday evening dinner. There is no ac.... After reviewing the regular menu we asked about the Miami spice and we were told that it only applies to four people at the table, that was mentioned on the menu at the premise but nowhere to be found online so three people from our group had to order from the regular menu. the service tax is 22% and the service was not up to par for the prices they are charging. We did take advantage of being able to walk into the famous mansion and take pictures, that was probably the best part of the evening. The valet service it’s $30. We have been participating at many Miami spice menu participating restaurants and there are a lot more restaurants with better menus and better service. there is room for a lot of improvement at this location. It was for us a one time visit. Unfortunately the more touristy the area the further away from good service.
Beautiful restaurant! Got sat right away on a Saturday night although it did take the server a bit to get to us. The food was ok, but I would return due to the beautiful venue. Everyone was friendly and I got some great pictures.
Muy bonito lugar. Me gusto la comida y el servicio muy bueno con Robert G
Service was spectacular. Staff was very attentive whilst also not making us feel rushed.
The food was amazing with the appetizer and entree leaving us no room for dessert.
Wine list was great too; we went for the LPR.
Great experience and the place just feels a bit magical.
Would definitely recommend going for a special occasion as it is quite expensive but worth it.
The service was terrible and very unfriendly. We came for our 20th anniversary and had that noted on our reservation. Not one staff member acknowledged it. Any questions we had about food were answered very rudely. They have a mandatory 23 percent service which explains why there is no motivation for servers to be helpful. I was not happy paying it to poor service.
Went here for birthday and had an amazing time
The staff was New not very knowledgeable about the history . Requested someone to tell us about the history no one came to explain . The food on the menu was not available and was ordinary . Nothing special .
The food was excellent. The table overlooking the pool was really nice. Fixed price lunch menu $29 was a good value. Unforgettable experience.
The service was absolutely a great experience for it to be my first time there. Our server Cynthia was phenomenon with her choice of food and wine. I will definitely be back
Best experience, employees were very kind and professional. Jaime was our waiter and he was outstanding!!! His recommendations were great and he took care of myself and my girlfriend. 11/10 service!!
The value is in the experience and the ambiance. The food was slightly better than average. The vegetables were prepared great. Stay away from the squash blossoms which were mostly fried mozzarella. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.
Sitio adecuado para el que le guste lo recargado, de lo contrario no vaya.
Menú muy reducido.
The place is beautiful, but obscenely expensive. It would still be ok if the portions were normal. However, the potions are so small that a child would leave hungry. My husband ordered lamb chops for $47. He was served one tiny chop that looked like a lollipop. Drinks are $25 each and even at the bar include 22% service charge. There are other beautiful restaurants nearby like The Forge, that are reasonable and serve normal size portions.
i WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERYTHING! 5 STARS!!!!!
Not possible to eat on terrace or outside as we were not hotel guests. This should be written on their website as photos are showing outside dining.
So let’s talk about this place...really pretty place and a good experience. The food was okay — we went for Miami Spice and had to ask for the menus because they didn’t give them to anyone since there were so many tourists. The service was mediocre at best but that didn’t really bother us too much. They ran out of bread (how does that even happen so they gave us toast...legit just toast), the veal and the vanilla gelato ended up being strawberry ice cream and they didn’t even tell us. They we’re missing just random things which you just don’t expect. The server never even introduced himself, and they include the 22% service charge — it’s the beach, we get it but 22% automatically? The food was okay in the end, our burrata app was good but then my gnocchi bolognese was better than the sea bass my husband got. All in all, you’re going for the name.
We request a table in a pool and receive a table in a room alone . Terrible
food was excellent and service was outstanding overall experience was exceptional
Absolutely beautiful scenery food was A+ and service was A++.
With MiamiSpice menu the food quantity were less than half compared to regular ones. Pretty unfair
22% of mandatory gratuity way too much for what we received
Food was quite good but the service needs to be worked on
We had to ask twice for place settings for 2/3 of us. We had to ask for bread twice. The fried zucchini flowers were cold inside (obviously frozen), the pasta and steak were good not great. They add 22% service.
The atmosphere gorgeous. Go for drinks Bc it is stunning.
Very disappointing and not worth the price. They hit you with a 22 percent service fee for service that isn’t worth a dime over 15 percent. If your going to charge 22 percent maybe iron the table cloths, don’t carry plates like it’s a diner, clear the bread basket, and refill water with out having to asked. Actually seen a sever spill ice on the ground and kick it under the table. That seem like acceptable service for 22 percent? The food was just as lack luster. The Veal Tonnato was old and slightly discolored. The bronzino was boring and lacked any talent or creativity to make. The tuna tartare was unoriginal and wasn’t memorable for any good reason. The only compliments for this lunch was the strawberry Gelato and the bread. It’s disappointing because you would think in the former mansion of Versace the service and food would stand up to the sights. Basically you pay for lunch to get a picture inside the mansion. It’s not worth it.
Love the food burger is my favorite, everything looks amazing just wish they would seat people closer to the pool at lunch ;) i go gere everytime im in Miami
Great environment , but was too hot. We had what wait 10 minutes to do o order because o waiter it seemed be busy. We attended very well !
We prove the miami spice menu. Asked as main course one fish bravino , i think that the name it was that. I found tasty. At input weight one deal with in salmon what i found what could be better. The place it's beautiful e worth it to know , but at our opinion the food stayed in second in this occasion.
We had a reservation at 8:45 but were not seated until 10pm. staff did not seem to care at all but the waiter was great.
The former Versace mansion is breathtaking, and the food is just perfect. The service was great as well. I just did not quite understand the service charge that is separate from the direct tip to my waiter. Other than that, everything was lovely.
We were in Miami on vacation and decided to eat at Gianni’s as an easy way to get a look inside the former Versace mansion. The staff at Gianni’s were pleasant and welcoming. The lure and ambiance inside is pretty awesome. You enter through the courtyard and quickly notice some of the accents that indicate an iconic fashion designer once resided there. We sat at the tables by the pool which provided one of the more unique backdrops you’ll find in any restaurant. I was blown away by the details of the mansion itself. It’s a huge draw to the restaurant. I also thought the food tasted great. The portion was smaller than I hoped, but that’s commonplace for finer dining. Overall, this restaurant is worth the visit. You get an inside look at a historic landmark that only exists in Miami along with great food.
