    Unfortunately our arrival was chaotic and the service was poor, we were not shown to our table just told it was the one over there and then ignored for 15 minutes whilst the staff rushed around clearing and setting tables. For the first few courses we had to ask for the paired wines which arrived some time after the food. As the evening went on things settled down and the service improved. Food was faultless and delicious.

    Went here for an anniversary with my partner and was absolutley superb. Very very welcoming and was well looked after by our hosts. During the last desert course we got a happy anniversary message in chocolate om our plate which was a really lovely touch. Could not highly recommend.

    Absolutely amazing vegan food fabulous setting and the wine pairing was brilliant! We went for my husbands 60th birthday and took a couple of friends who were all thoroughly impressed! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the food and wine. Thanks again.

    Fantastic flavours, beautifully presented and incredibly constructed dishes. Each course became our new favourite and wine pairings perfect. Service, professional but also with warmth. A wonderful experience.

    Some interesting dishes but several were cold/lukewarm. Brioche was delicious and service was friendly. Very limited wine selection despite their being so many great vegan wines!!

    A beautifully thought out menu, knowledgeable and charming staff, gorgeous setting and utterly delicious , exquisite dishes. Having been a vegetarian for 40 years, and a vegan for over a decade, this is best meal I have ever had. Thank you to Alexis Gauthier and your team for your commitment, compassion and utter brilliance in making this happen. We now have a home to mark future celebrations and look forward to trying the different seasonal menus. Thank you .

    The hot dishes were not hot at all, one of the dishes had to be returned as there was an insect crawling on the plate with food. I've been many times and was really disappointed by the food this time round. The staff on the other hand were really good .

    Really delicious food and excellent service! Great wine pairing. Welcoming music in the entrance area but in the main restaurant there was a slight lack of atmosphere which some quiet background music could have improved. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

    Our dinner at gauthier was very good, the service was exceptional and the food was lovely. We arrived late due to transport issues but were still accommodated and didn't feel rushed during our meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening and helping us to celebrate our anniversary

    Food was great with exception of 4 course. Very odd taste. Could hear other diners say the same, might be worth looking at changing this as it was such a disappointment after the high standard of the other dishes.

    Gauthier is an experience everyone should experience, vegan or not, once in their life at least. Their set menu concoctions are so unique, detailed and carefully put together you wonder if you're eating a meal or actually experiencing something more. I went in with an empty stomach and left feeling perfectly satisfied and delightfully giddy over the magical food I had just consumed. The staff are all incredibly professional, the restaurant is stunning and homely and yes - while it is expensive (for someone who isn't super weathly) it is still worth every penny. I will definitely come back in the future.

    Absolutely faultless. The only suggestion I would make is to offer an alternative to the full tasting menu. It was outstanding, but by course five, we were struggling and the final courses became an ordeal to finish. It was such a pity not be able to appreciate them as they deserved because we were uncomfortably full.

    Globalement très bien mangé malgré le manque de temps pour l'apéritif (commande prise trop tard) Le reste du service est très bien. Vin et menu excellents, desserts sublimes. Les toilettes ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'établissement.

    Lovely place to spend our evening. It was so nice to eat at a fully vegan restaurant, and not have to worry that we would come across animal products. The staff were very attentive and held a lovely environment.
