Our server, Dave, was excellent. Just the right amount of attentiveness, without being intrusive. The service was fast too, but we were there for an early diner before a concert. Interesting cocktails and a well proportioned dinner serving were a plus. We’ll definitely visit again. More

We weren’t sure what to expect when we walked in. It was a Tuesday evening and there were very few people outside of the bar area. The dining area had very little ambiance— bright lighting and sparse decor. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food. Starting with our salads, there were limited dressing choices but the greens were fresh. Overall it was a good start. Between the three of us, we had short ribs, steak kebabs with pita and chicken kebabs with pita. They were all pretty large portion sizes and were excellently prepared. The onion sumac pita that came with the kebabs was especially unique and tasty. I’d definitely order either of those again just for the pita. The service was also a perfect balance between attentiveness and having the ability to enjoy uninterrupted conversation. More

Brooklyn blends culture with cuisine bringing all people together. An infectious vibe, palpable energy, and savory palette is Brooklyn. Replete with a brick oven for artisanal pizzas, craft cocktails, and two-levels of pure sophistication. Meet Brooklyn once, you will never forget her.

The District dining scene mirrors the dating scene: You’ll fall in love then you begin to lose interest. The object of your admiration will disappear, only to be replaced by a newer, shinier thing. There will be the one that got away, the one that’s out of your league, and the one that’s only good for some late night hedonism. Not in Brooklyn, she will make you seek monogamy.More

Discover District of Columbia

The District of Columbia is a place where eating out can be an adventure. Caribbean, Italian, and Pakistani cuisine can be found in the area. You can also dine on classic American fare, seafood, and barbecue. Try the Jamaican spice-rubbed pork tenderloin or the steak churrasco for a taste of the Caribbean. If you plan to eat Italian cuisine, sample the gamberi, cannelloni, or the pollo parmigiano. The District of Columbia’s Pakistani fare is traditional with dishes like Punjabi boti chicken tikka, goat dum biryani, or the butter chicken. For breakfast, you might like steel cut oats, organic cottage cheese and fresh fruit, or French toast and beef hash. This is a destination where the food is almost as good as the sights.
