   It took almost a half hour for appetizers to be served with few people in dining room. The soup was cold and the salad not special.

   This is a real hidden gem on the north shore. Food is always great, charming bistro makes you feel as though you are in France and not on Green Bay Road! Highly recommend!

   Among the best restaurants in Chicagoland - for over 40 years! Consistently amazing in terms of drinks, food, service, ambience, etc. Couldn't ask for anything more. Not cheap, but worth every penny! Bravo to the entire crew!

   Froggy's is a lovely, small restaurant with a menu that changes & has amazing food, thanks to an amazing chef. Service is also impeccable. I only wish I lived closer to it!!!

   We ate here for Valentine's Day. You would think that for $90.00 per person, they would have crushed it. They did not. Appetizers were Ok. My wife had the Dover Sole. It was fishy and probably not very fresh. Should have sent it back. I had the bouillabaisse. It was fair. This is a dish, that if it is on the menu, I will always order it. This was just OK. Dessert was good. Probably the best part of the meal. Not really sure if we will return. Very hard to find a good French restaurant.

   We have frequented the restaurant for many many years. The ambience is amazing. The menu never changes and in fact, the menu on the Internet is not the same as what is at the restaurant. There are additions on the Internet menu that are not available at the restaurant without advance notice, as I asked about that. it would be nice to see a change in the menu for different seasons. The service was so-so.

    We enjoyed lunch at Froggy’s and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We sat at a beautiful table in the front window on sunny day and the food was better than excellent! This was our first time eating at Froggy’s and we will definitely return.

    As always, Froggy’s is a superb choice for an elevated dining experience. When you enter the restaurant, especially the smaller room to the front of the bar, you enter a beautiful winery-like setting that transplants you to a little inn in France. The food is presented so beautifully and tastes so delicious. Always, always, a wonderful treat.

    We had not been back to Froggy’s in some time, mostly due to COVID, but the food quality remains excellent and our service was prompt and very attentive. Can’t wait to return!

    Presentation of food was an artist's palette. Very small portions. Dressing on house salad drowned the lettuce. Two of us had the whitefish. It was o.k. On the plate was a dollop of mashed potatoes, small samples of veggies beautifully displayed. Bread and butter skimpy. We were celebrating a birthday and selected the apple/carmel tart. The crust was soggy and there were few apples on top. Food did not come near the level of the prices.

    Froggys was terrific! The chef came out and asked the kids what they would like, which was so kind and really made the evening special. Everyone loved their food, the fish special and the special pheasant & wild boar Wellington were standouts!

    Food came out slightly warm and flat, like it was plated for a long period of time before we were served. Not equating money paid for food but it certinly was not worth what we paid for.

    Ordered the beef Wellington, as it it one of my favorites that few restaurants offer. Big disappointment when it was served as a slice rather than a traditional pastry covered serving. Pastry was soggy and there was at most a few bites of beef. Mashed potatoes was about a spoonful. The best part of the dinner was the bread and butter. I doubt we will return!

    Doesn’t seem like the same quality as it was years past! Also took quite some time to get anybody to come up to us to ask us if we wanted to drink. They actually took another couple before us that just got seated.

    Service was spotty. Either the server had too many tables or was just very slow Asked the server about where the exits were. Answer was unsatisfactory My tenderloin was way undercooked. Asked for medium; was barely rare Truffle fries were great

    I have been a Froggy’s fan for over 40 years. After returning to the area and finally eating again at this wonderful restaurant I can say wholeheartedly it is a wonderful place for an upscale dining and food experience. The staff is superb.

    The food was delicious and the service is the best anywhere, top notch yet very relaxed. We love the enclosed patio with a fireplace, street view and twinkle lights. This is our go to special occasion restaurant and more.

    We celebrated my daughter‘s birthday, it’s our first time dining here I’ve heard about it for the past couple years now I’ve been wanting to try this place and so I have to say that it was a very big disappointment, first was the two little baskets of bread that we got at the table they look so cute but the bread was so hard and cold I mean hard as a rock it just made us feel like they pretty much brought the bread that was left over from the whole day because our reservation was at 8:00 PM And none of the food tasted good it was just very off we didn’t complain we didn’t say anything and found hair in our desert and also did not say anything about that either and I finished us off we had our server take pictures of me and my husband and my two beautiful daughters and he made such nice compliments how beautiful we were, he also made one less comment about me and my daughters which was such an insult so perverted and how embarrassing I just couldn’t wait to get out of there never again I would put my foot in this place

    We had a special dinner at Froggy's for a group of 6 last Saturday. This was our first time at Froggy's and everything was perfect. I requested a special dessert when I made the reservation and the chef had a wonderful cake made for our group. The food and service were outstanding, and they gave us excellent choices for our wine. They did not recommend the most expensive wine either. We had a wonderful dinner at Froggy's and are looking forward to dining there again soon. Note: We did not know about the valet parking at Froggy's, and it is definitely needed at that location on Saturday night.

    Food was poor. I had the rack of lamb. It was tasteless. When the chef came around and asked for feedback, I let him know that the lamb was tasteless. His response was (and I quote) “…it is New Zealand lamb, it is always tasteless and it is very young…”. He finished up by saying “…I do not put the taste in the lamb”. I’ll leave you to your own reactions. My experience with lamb (especially New Zealand lamb) prior to this meal was quite the opposite. My wife had the duck. The waitress had indicated that the sauce is a little sweet. It was overly sweet, to the point it had to be scraped off the duck prior to each bite. The umbrellas on the ceiling were fun, but in no way made up for overly prIced, tasteless food. Buyer beware.

    Froggy'sResponded on November 8, 2022Unreasonable review, especially after customer comes into restaurant the next week to convey through Maître’ d to the Chef apologizing for his behavior and admitting fault. Why not remove/correct this unfair review? New Zealand lamb is prized for mildness and mellow flavor, and this should be the restaurant’s fault? Just because he grew up overseas and is used to strong flavored lamb? The other is sliced Breast of Duck with a Cassis sauce. The server said is with sweet sauce (that is Cassis)!
