Frankie's Fellini Cafe - Berwyn
The cafe is BYOB. At Frankie's Fellini Cafe you can always enjoy your favorite wine or beer with our delicious meals without a corking fee.
Frankie's Fellini Cafe is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Food came slowly but it was Valentine’s Day so very busy. The server was aware of the slowness and made it up with computer appetizers while we waited. Also the server turned back one attempt at service because our piece of sea bass was too small. Thefood was good when it arrived though. So it was enjoyable despite the bumpiness in service.
Another delicious meal at Fellini’s! Food and service were spot on! Our group had a veal entree, spaghetti and tortellini special. Only downsides are the noise level and it is a small space. Looking forward to our next visit!
food and service were fantastic. my only issue wa that a 7PM reservation didnt get seated until 8
Frankies never disappoints. Might be the best Italian food on the mainline. Just a great causal place.
A go to place when you want great Italian that you would get in So. Philly in Berwyn.
Great food and service!
We are regular customers at Frankie’s and the food and service is always outstanding. The best flatbread Caesar salad is amazing!
We love going to Frankies. We are never disappointed!!
Going back on Wednesday night!! 👏👏👏
Frankie's is the best of South Philly Italian come to Berwyn, Food is great; the servers even better. It's got a great vibe, like a noisy family party at your grandmother's. It's not cheap, but the BYO helps keep the tab reasonable. The place is usually packed by 7 pm on Saturday evening, but if you can grab seat at the counter, you get to watch them stuff the canollis as you enjoy your meal.
The food is always fabulous!
Great service and food! Our goto place for Italian!
Requested a more spacious table and had a great spot.
Very disappointed in the meal and quality of service.
The food was delicious (as usual!!) and the service was excellent and friendly!
Great food, great service what more can I say. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Outstanding local restaurant. We dine here ~ once a month, consistent , delicious and friendly . Highly recommend!
Extra cost due to don’t pay in cash, the quality / price is unfair
Fabulous food, and everyone who works there is wonderful.
Our favorite Italian restaurant. Great food and service as always. It's a Sunday dinner with the "family" atmosphere. Love seeing and catching up with the friendly staff.
Always the best for an awesome Italian meal!
Food and service was excellent!
A great choice for dinner in Berwyn, PA. So many choices and all are excellent.
We used to love Fellini's. It's quaint and delicious. However, now you are greeted by a sign at the front door that states a 4% surcharge on all credit card purchases. Not only that, we recently had a reservation that they would not honor. I am sad to say that we will no longer be frequenting this cute neighborhood spot.
Love this place. Great casual vibe, even better food.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Small and family style.
We booked a table last minute a short time before closing. Its a very unassuming storefront in a small shopping mall so I raised an eyebrow before walking in. They welcomed us with open arms and delivered the most authentic delicious Italian meal I've had in quite some time. Pastas cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce just like Zia Celeste made me in Naples. My Branzino so perfectly seasoned over fresh veggies. I will go out of my way to come back here next time in town! regretfully, I was so full I did not try the cannoli which I would see was going to be as outstanding as our dinner was. Ciao for now! xoxo FYI- Its BYOB
From out of town and do not know much about the area. Visited based on their opentable scores. My waitress was very kind super energetic. My bruschetta was very good. Filled with fresh tomatoes, mozz cheese, and basil. The bruschetta had a nice seasoning kick to it. I would definitely order again. My steak was cooked well. Seasoned properly. Red peppers were sweet adding an extra flavor to the dish. Potatoes were bland but I am not a potato fan. She gave me a wonderful homemade red sauce to dip them in, which was added an element. I spoke to the owner Frank, he's very proud of his restuarant as he should be. I would suggest a check out if you need a quiet night and warm friendly place to have dinner. I couldn't personally have the desserts but they looked amazing!
Food was really good! Service was great and friendly. A casual place to eat and a BYOB. Pizza is off the menu; 😞. Acoustics aren’t great, so it’s loud! Plus there was a singer and when he was performing, it was a bit overwhelming; too loud for the space! Had to literally yell to be heard. But I’m glad we ate there! I recommend trying it!
Excellent as always
Never disappoints. Love this place for Sunday dinner.
Always great food and fun experience with the staff!
A must go to!!
I was dumbfounded when after we paid our bill and finishing up our half glass of wine, a lady came up to our table and asked that we leave because they needed our table for the next person. This is after we were there for an hour and 15 minutes, not a drawn out dinner! We were clearly wrapping up our dinner with finishing our wine, we wouldnt have been more than 10 more minutes. I will never be going back as this was a total turnoff.
Always our favorite for consistent, great food... and personal service!
Excellent meal and super friendly service team. Consistently one of the best in the area.
Possibly one of the worst meals yet. We had a reservation at 6:45 p.m. and when we arrived, Frankie acted bothered, stating "you slid this in on Open Table". We waited 25 minutes for our table, and then a waitress came right over. We thought it may improve, but sadly did not. After telling us the specials, she said "I'll be right back with bread." She then went behind the bar never to appear again. We finally had to flag Frankie over again, and again he was bothered and told us to "enjoy the ride." We finally got our food a full 100 minutes after our 6:45 p.m. reservation. My daughter's chicken parmesan was inedible, and tasted disgusting. My other daughter's gnocchi was meh, as was my meal, shrimp diavolo. We did not see a waitress after Frankie took our order, so we could not let anyone know. In summary, while this restaurant is within walking distance to our house, I will NEVER go in there again. Food was terrible, and the service was even worse. Glad Frankie is so busy he can afford to be rude to customers he doesn't know.
Our party of 4 was seated at 6pm, plenty of time we thought for a theater curtain of 8 pm on a Saturday. But the service was very slow. We didn’t get served our main courses until about 7:15pm and by time we finished we were rushing to pay our check and get to the show. The calamari starter was more fried than we expected. It tasted like a French fry with a piece of squid inside. Two of us were pleased with our main and 2 of us less so. The place was so crowded we felt claustrophobic. And the noise level made it hard to hold a conversation.
Always amazing!!! I absolutely love going to Frankie’s! One of my favorite places to eat on the entire Main Line!!!!
Food was delicious & the service was wonderful. Loud but well worth it. I would recommend it highly.
Continues to be the best Italian restaurant on the main line. Always an amazing meal and great service.
Chicken was dried out. We both ordered chicken entrees and we were both disappointed that the chicken was overcooked because it ruined our dishes. Wasn’t really impressed with the red sauce either. It was fine, but I’m not raving about it. I’ll probably find another Italian restaurant since there are plenty in the area.
