Patrona Restaurant and Lounge is located in the heart of beautiful Ukiah, Mendocino County, California. Our building served as the town grocery store for over one hundred years. Now lovingly restored, it is softly lit with warm brick walls, filled with hand crafted tables from local artisans and run by a staff that cares. Our menu changes are based on today’s catch, what's fresh from the gardens, and local purveyors.

At The Matheson's third floor, adventurous cocktails are crafted from innovative spirits and seasonal fruits, flowers, and herbs. The Mugnaini wood-fired oven kindles small plates that spark the palate (and conversations). Outdoor, open-air seating amidst planters and fire-pits elevate our buzzing garden perch. We take limited reservations 4 weeks in advance for groups up to 4 guests. Large groups from 6-12ppl can be accommodated through Open Table Experiences.Please note we can ONLY allow service animals on Roof 106. An automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to parties of 6 or more.

    Our table of four decided on the Chef's Best option and we were not disappointed! The food came out fast. Each course was large and delicious! By the fourth course, we were all already full. We asked for our dessert to be boxed to go. The staff was attentive and kind. I highly recommend Roof 106 and this menu option.

    We always have a great time here but this time around there was a group of people (10) that were all yelling over each other to be heard and those of us aroumd them were bombarded with their loudness. Groups like that should be sat on the patio so the noise can disperse to the surrounding neighborhood. The bar area, which is where it is normally loud was very quiet compared to the area we were sat in.

    A couple months ago, we had a pleasant brunch on the porch at Canneti Roadhouse Italiana in Forestville. Last night we went back to try dinner, since we had been intrigued by the menu. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing, for the full experience: melon soup shooter with caviar, roasted peaches with gorgonzola, a lamb sugo with pasta, a roasted half-hen, and a rice custard cake for dessert. Large portions of everything (except the shooter, obviously) -- we brought leftovers home. Again, we ate on the patio, which was delightful on a warmish evening. Service was attentive and friendly, and we were able to hold a conversation without effort (lots of room in the outdoor space). The food is very good, and the tasting menu gives a good overview. The paired wines are well-matched to the food. If you like "real" Italian food, it's worth a trip to Forestville. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu (and more lamb sugo, which was my favorite).

    Valette is still the best restaurant in Healdsburg, a city with multiple outstanding dining choices. The melon gazpacho was flavorful and refreshing. The charcuterie board is an exceptional appetizer. The scallops are still one of my favorite dishes are are sufficient for a light main course. The service is spot on and friendly, a credit to the excellent management and the entire Valette team. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy a great meal in a relaxing environment.
