After soaking in the TRB’s Santa Barbara mission architecture, you’ll enter and be greeted by a triple arched Brunswick mahogany bar. Large bowls of colorful citrus for making cocktails sit atop a twenty-foot long bar perfect for grabbing a glass of wine or a bite to eat. As you explore further towards the display kitchen, you enter our lounge, also referred to as the wine library. Knotted wood shelves display our wines, divided up by wine region. Windows surround the North side of the dining room, allowing our guests to gaze out onto the fountain in our courtyard. I describe the décor as thoughtful and collective, creating little vignettes for dining areas. We offer two separate outdoor dining experiences: our courtyard with full service and our front porch great for appetizers, drinks and lounging.

    Three of us gather for a young 84 yr old Latino professors BDay. He’s from UCLA but has lived in the capitol and restaurants in the DC area. I have shared various beautiful eclectic fine restaurants alone the South Bay coast we love this location ambience and food. A few drinks were unknown by your young servers, but we manager to work it out … sherry wine also Malibu coconut rum. So orderer a piña colada. Very kind server Griffen. We each left 20% tip. please it took 35 minutes 6 blocks away to park and my friends were further so we arrived at 5:45 had a brink downstairs then dinner at 6:00 excellent window table prepared with a perfect view.

    Have loved RYLA every time we’ve been. From the care put into their hospitality to the patio setting, to, of course the creative and balanced menu items and thoughtful ingredient sourcing. It’s the best. And kids voted the RYLA Japanese soufflè pancakes > the original! By far. Was the perfect “fancy” family brunch before a much needed Sunday beach day with friends.

    Always enjoy my meals here. The bartender was excellent and made us 2 delicious drinks. Service was spectacular. Our food was talking a little bit to come out I guess, we didn’t really notice, and both the server and a manager came to make sure to give us updates and check us. Highly recommend the short rib pasta! We will definitely be back soon! Thanks to all the staff for such an enjoyable night!

    Made a reservation, and we were seated within a couple of minutes. I appreciated that they were flexible for our request to sit in a booth rather than a regular table. Our server took a little while to take our order, but overall, he was courteous and friendly! We really enjoyed the appetizers, salad, and entrees! We’ll be back again!
