Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in Mundelein

Always a treat to dine here. Food is reliably always good and service was great. I enjoy supporting a long standing restaurant in my town

Our 3rd time there and still good and perfect. Awesome food, fair prices, perfect service.

Excellent experience. We arrived early and got a drink at the bar. The bartender worked with the hostess to insure we were seated. The rib appetizer was the hit of the evening. Good service. One of our favorite places.

Gumrai Thai in Arlington Heights was such a pleasant surprise. I am not usually the biggest fan of Thai food, but everything here was delicious and I would definitely come back. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Thai Iced Tea. Every dish was super flavorful and fresh. We asked for everything spicy and it actually had a real kick which I loved. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and they checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. The service made the experience even better and the food came out hot and fast. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and it has a cozy neighborhood feel. Prices were reasonable and the portions were great. I highly recommend trying this spot if you are in the area or if you love Thai food or spicy food.
