Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Needham

Davios is our favorite Boston restaurant for ambiance and an elegant dining out experience. Good food, great service and interesting taste experiences. We’ve been going here for decades and will continue to enjoy Davios in the Back Bay. They care about each and all of their patrons.

Had the fixed price chef's tasting menu at the kitchen counter where each plate was accompanied by a description from the chef. Everything was inventive and excellent. This menu changes about every 8 weeks.

We visited Legal's to take advantage of their October Oysterfest (only on Tuesdays). Deliciuous raw bar, oysters Rockefeller, and a pasta dish with fried oysters. Great service, and we appreciated the restaurant dealing with our late arrival due to traffic congestion from a serious accident.

Davio's Seaport does not disappoint. The food is extraordinary and the service impeccable. Two in our party had crab cakes - nicely seasoned & perfectly done. The yellow fin tuna was done exactly as ordered and was pure bliss. One order of French Toast was excellent and so large it could not be finished. Overall a fine way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
