Celebrated my birthday at Merrimans. Everything was just amazing. Our server, Jasmine, was the BEST. We had a fantastic table with a perfect view of the sunset. Their mai Tais are some of the best in Hawaii. We shared a delicious salad, had an order of the fabulous biscuits too. Hubby had the pork shank and I had the Ma Kai which was ahi. Their house made ice cream was yummy and the restaurant treated to some nice extras for my birthday. Thank you Merrimans for making my day so special!

The view of Poipu Beach as we walked in at sunset was incredible, and we were lucky enough to get a table by a window. Our server was very friendly and super good at her job. All the service was good - food and drinks were delivered, water was refilled, and dishes were whisked away, all without our even noticing most of the time. And the food was to die for. The seared scallop appetizer was perfect, and the catch of the day (mahimahi) was incredible: firm yet silky and soft, and done just right. Dessert was passionfruit creme brûlée, which again was amazing. What a lovely experience. Can’t wait to come back to Kauai so we can eat there again!

The restaurant ambience was so welcoming, with small rooms so every area felt intimate. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained the different menu items thoroughly so we knew what we would be getting. We both had the mixed seafood grill, which included fish, shrimp, scallop, and lobster - just amazing. Desserts were wonderful as well. Service was impeccable and unobtrusive. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in Kauai.

We love this restaurant, it's always excellent and the prices are great for Hawaii! I had fresh catch Sword fish with forbidden black rice. Yummy! We loved our waitress whose name was Mattie too! She was fun and helped with restaurant recommendations for our week ahead. It's a place we go every time we are on Kauai (every year!)

Our first time eating at this restaurant and the entrees that we selected were excellent. The bolognese pasta and chicken piccata. The wait staff was short for the Monday crowd that showed up but they were attentive to our requests.
