The Oar House has never disappointed. It’s restaurant week and the food was amazing. I had a delicious swordfish steak and my friend enjoyed the seafood pot pie. The price was fair and the food was great!

Great experience at Painters for Halloween. The decorations were appropriately spooky and fun! The skirt steak was fantastic, so tender and the marinade was delicious. We also had the Pretzel with dipping sauce and it was one of the best Pretzels I've had, even better than some German restaurants I have been to. Salad was also on point!

The food was fantastic, as was the service. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and smiled the entire evening. We ate in the dining room, and it was quieter than the bar area. Perfect for a romantic date night with your significant other. We started with a charcuterie board appetizer, which was well presented and the perfect size for two. For the mains, we both split each other's entrees; the filet mignon was spectacular, and the penne alla vodka was delicious. Topped off the evening with the Crème brûlée. Very quiet restaurant needs a little updating but very clean. Our server Anthony was very good and aimed to please was very good explaining menu options and made great recommendations. Overall the food was great. We had lamb chops and short ribs for dessert we had gelato and strudel. The sweet potato fries were fabulous. Very enjoyable evening.
