Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Financial District, Greater Boston

Lunch service a little slow, but it was the day after 4th of July holiday weekend, so understandable. We split the Pigs in a Blanket (SOO good!) which is really one amazing Irish sausage wrapped in puff pastry, sliced with a side of Colmans mustard. My guest had Ruben, which was generous and he could only eat half! and I had the Chicken and mushroom pastry ( aka Vol an Vent) very generous. Great meal for elevated "pub food". We love the consistently good food, friendly staff.

We had the oysters, shrimp lettuce wraps, blue fin tuna entree, and the skirt steak entree. It was all incredible! The Parmesan herb fries are to die for!

As always the food was amazing as was the service. The cocktails are always unique as well.

We loved this place. Really cool space, great cocktails and service and delicious oysters, steak frites and ribs!

Five Horses was awesome! They accommodated 8 people beautifully, we were also on a time crunch and they made sure we were on time, since we were all talking and eating we lost track of time! The food was amazing! we all had fantastic meals, they even have tator tots on the menu which were a big hit for our table. I will go back often! The atmosphere felt kind and a neighborhood pub where we are all welcome.
