- MMichaelNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI enjoy going to different kinds of restaurants throughout the year. Nevertheless, for dinner on my birthday, I always like to go out to Artisan with my wife. The food and service are always great, the vibe is lively but not noisy, and it’s a comfortable experience on a day important to me. Much to like about this place!More infoArtisan$$$$• Contemporary American• Southport•4.7

Having drinks outside by the fire pit on a cool fall night, then going to a great dinner, then strolling to the Awesome side door jazz club - which always has the most extraordinary talent is really beyond compare for our quiet little town. Then consider it began in the 1850’s, this sense of hospitality and adventure combine. I just love this place.More infoOld Lyme Inn$$$$• American• Old Lyme•4.6
